   FINALLY!! The Hasbro sale.. woo-hooo!!..

   But cash & carry ONLY?!?!?!.. D’OH!!!!.. last time they had credit card facilities, so what gives..*grumble**mumble*

   I haven’t been to this Warehouse sale before…..Can anyone tell me is it worth to be there ? Things over there is it really cheap ? Is it hard to find parking over there ? Maybe “salesfreak” can tell us ?

   I sure can.. last year, they had the sale sometime in late May, and IMHO, it was totally worth it!! Unfortunately I was able only to go on Sunday, and missed out on a lot of Star Wars goodies (according to the staff there) but still managed to snag myself a veritable array of goodies, from Star Wars Starfighters to Transformers Energon figures. Not to mention for the little kiddies, Playskool playsets and Little Pony toys.

   And this time around they’re having Marvel Heroes items on sale? Oh joy, more $$$

   Yups, parking is a nightmare (it’s an industrial area, so you parking is where you can find on an-if-you’re-lucky basis)

   Just hope it doesn’t rain that Saturday morning, and that there isn’t a Harry Potter-sized crowd waiting at the gates

   I’m putting this down in my diary. I need to stock up on toys as gifts and such. Shopping once a year at warehouse sales saves me a lot, money and time wise.

   Hot Wheels belong to Mattel, You normally find them at the Mattel Warehouse Sales and Diethelm Warehouse Sales. Which are none at the moment!

    hi salesfreak…i just wanna know were the playskool items have many choices to choose from?were there big type of toys(like the kitchen set etc) or just the small ones?tq

    Shy, last year they had some really nice, big types of playskool toys..hopefully, it’s more of the same this year, but don’t hold me to that, I don’t have or know of any inside Hasbro workers-managers..I merely comment from what I remember

    Bought the Playskool Busy Ball Popper for my nephew (can’t remember how much now), hope that’s ‘big’ enough for you. As for kitchen sets, I think there were such items on sale, memory is fuzzy on that.. p’haps anyone else who went last year could comment?

    Can’t wait until tomorrow!!!!!Hasbro Toys warehouse sale lah…..Pureen warehouse sale lah…..And Hallmark babies end of season sale lah…..Wow my pocket will be very sad already …..e……

    Yowza, the sale was SoOoO totally worth it! Am contemplating going there again tomorrow morning..only attended the morning session today, had to give the afternoon session a miss coz I had to send someone to the airport..so what did I miss??

    As usual, crowd was bananas..note to parents: next time, leave your kids @ home! pity them being crushed in the maddening crowd, or sweltering in the morning heat *sighs* and note to Hasbro people: next time, plan your layout better… there’s only one way in and out of the sales area, so the people trying to get out are being swarmed by the people trying to get in!

    Loved the Star Wars & Playskool items on sale.. ridiculously low prices, can’t be beat! Last tip: next time, hand out those empty boxes to the people waiting in line, before the gate opens (trust me, it’ll come in handy) grab-away!

    went there on saturday..soo many people but managed to get some playskool, tonka, playdoh, littlest pet, my little pony n star wars items.but i was frustrated coz i didn’t get the playskool BBQ set.anyway,it was worth it..

    Hai !! Shy what you got for Playskool toys ? How much is is it ? I got the musical doll for just RM 5 only,monopoly for RM 80,adn playdoh for RM 20……but i did’nt manage to get the little one there are all finish when i reached there…..So sad……

    cmy, i got spin n pop archade for rm70, spin n slide the beads for rm10 n weebleville for rm50…tonka quite expensive but my son really love cars n lorries etc so much so kinda “tak apa lah..”…hehe…i just love the playdoh set : creativity centre rm70,playdoh diner rm 10 n ice cream truck rm10…each of the toys sold for less than rm70 which is for me reasonable la..rite?

    I don’t recall the Tonka trucks being ‘that’ expensive shy..I got one for RM25, which you have to agree is considerably cheaper than what the full retail price is on the outside.

    Purchased some Star Wars vehicles and their Unleashed packs (the latter was a steal at RM20 per pack), along with the Titanium figures and vehicles. Not forgetting the Playskool items (got that GloBaby Doll too, RM5, yow!) and Marvel Heroes mini-plushies (RM20 for a set of 4, done!)

    Now only have to save up for Hasbro Warehouse Sale 2008

    hehe..yeah..maybe u r right, salesfreak…maybe i said that because i have spent a lot on toys only..hehe…but really, it was worth it.i just wanna know when is the mattel wh sale coming up?i’m still eager in getting the kitchen set (the ‘BIG’ stuff..hehe) for my kids.
