I went there yesterday ard 3pm.. no so many ppl. There are some baby wear from RM1.00 ( not many choice) follow by rm 3, rm5 n rm10.
plan to go next weekend..
hopefully not so much ppl..
went there twice today..he..he… not so many ppl maybe becoz most of them still out of town due to long holiday, this sale really interesting, most of the item is nice an in v good condition but the price started at rm 3 onwards which is the rm3 one is for infant only but u can find the nice rm 5 one and easy to get the pair. but i dont buy any for my daughter becoz the hari raya clothes still got few unused. i just bought few item as a present to my friend. but ithink for the next next week there will be more ppl around. Variety of choice for girls….
This warehouse sale only on garments? Are there any other baby stuff like pillows, bouncer, toys, strollers?

I saw there have 5-6 types of Stroller, the price range is RM60-RM120 very cheap compare you bought at WOC.The stroller brand is Tenderly.

actually every year i been there for me this year end sales a bit expensive, especially for issue kid cloths RM 1, RM 20, March 07 those are only RM 8 and RM 10 only.
i’m looking for stroller and baby car seat, is it worth to buy at this sale or better go for shopping mall. is it tenderly stroller good? tq for the info.
I went last week, very hot hot hot and the place sangat gelap, this year a bit expensive, last time, 0~3 years only Rm3, Now RM5 and RM8. Dont’t bring your kid there, cos very hot and dirty.

ummunabil, i think for stoller it is worth it to buy there, i saw the tenderly rm150 one, it is quite good an look expensive like the sweet cherry which is maybe price more than rm300 . my brother bought it last year.. and i like it. but do check the price at shopping mall first before u go there, the selection of colors maybe limited. but i dont see any car seat.
Actually, the place is not that dirty. It’s like any other warehouse sale. It’s in the compound of the factory and staff are quite helpful. Like when I bought the stroller for my daughter, the staff gladly taught us how to fold and unfold it. My hubby and I were happy to buy such a good stroller for only RM120. Best of all, the manual says max weight is 30kg! (For that kind of stroller, imported brands like MacLaren would charge RM500+) We arrived at 3pm on Saturday and there wasn’t too crowded. I actually when there with my daughter.
Only thing is don’t follow the map completely. If coming from d’sara, it’s the 3rd turning after BP and esso. Not the first like the map shows. Make sure you look out for the sign “Desa Jaya”. Then you’ll end up on the road from “Desa Aman Puri” (see map). Go straight and you’ll see the roundabout with a furniture mall facing you. Turn 9 o’clock as the map says and you’ll see Esso, Mobil, Shops and Field on your right like map.

Yes, agree…hot place, number of people is OK, not too crowded (went there in late morning). Bought a stroller (which has spacious compartment under the baby’s seat, has 4 reclining positions, has separate detachable sheet for the baby’s compartment, has bottle-fitting ‘table’ at the baby’s compartment and also at the pushing handle, canopy with square see-thru plastic ‘window’ for RM100! Unfortunately no infant or convertible car seats on sale. Bought also rattle RM1, chain for pacifier RM1, baby shoe RM3, another bigger baby shoe RM5, Winnie the Pooh long sleeve top and long bottom baby suit set for RM5 (but only 1 design available and the only color is blue!), a baby top RM3 and a baby shorts RM3. Baby boys’ clothes selection is lesser than girls. The staff and supervisor is very helpful when buying the stroller…teaching how to asemble and fold the stroller. After buying stroller, the staff even offered to help you carry the stroller to your car! Good service.
Saw play-pen for sale at, I think,Rm100.
After reading Lily’s comment on the RM150 stroller, I went there Sunday late afternoon. Fortunately it was drizzling. So I managed to escape the hot & dirty atmosphere. Not crowded also.
Had my eye on this RM100 stroller. Not bad. Umbrella like. Was told original price around RM180. But in the end bought the other one costs RM150. Was told original price at least RM300, which I think reasonable.
Service very good. I think they are Myanmar workers but speak ok English. And yes very helpful. Can ask and they will show you other colours inside. Can demo & teach how to fold strollers no problem.
There were about 5-6 models of strollers. One RM100 playpen. Tenderly brand. Clothes maybe more expensive than before. But
Went again on 6th January 08. Bought some more things:
Toddler round neck T-shirts (Disney) – RM5 each
Toddler shorts or bermudas (Disney) – RM5 each
Children (up to 10 years old) round neck T-shirts (American Athletics) – RM5 each
Children (up to 10 yrs old) collared polo T-shirts (Disney) – RM8 each
Children bermuda (garter type, checks fabric design) (Disney) – RM3 each
Baby detergen (1 kg/box) – RM5
Nappy liner (150 pcs/box) – RM7
Children socks (Looney Tunes) – RM3
Baby cap (Tenderly) – RM1 (only pink color designs available)
The last time i bought the stroller for RM100 was on 23 Dec 07. On 6th Jan 08, the same model of stroller i bought is now selling at RM150!
Other things like baby toiletries and baby wipes are not sufficiently cheap. E.g. is baby shampoo 750 ml selling for RM7, Disney baby wipes 160 pcs. for RM8, toddler shoes for RM12.

Car seat!? Where did they put the car seat for sale? Near which item? I went twice on 23 Dec 07 and on 6th Jan 08, but didn;t see any car seat. By the way, is the car seat meant for infant only or the type for infant till toddler age?
Just went on Saturday 12 Jan and still got lots of strollers. Successfully bought one for RM150. They seem to add more clothes in the morning as I think there are more varieties compared to when I went in the afternoon. Besides that, the RM100 playpen has finished. Only the RM150 model left. Was told that the RM100 one has defects, while the RM150 doesn’t. No more carseats by the way. Other than that, they have shifted the sale for adult apparels to the other entrance.
Yep the price is definately higher compared to the pureen warehouse sales. I went there on the 1st week of jan in the morning. It was very difficult to find the place and the designs are almost the same and returns from the supermarkets as you can see labels from different stores. The price is not really cheap eg. the price tag is RM 7.90 and they are selling it at RM 5.
I do admit the detergent was cheap only RM 5. I got 4 boxes. Started using it Tenderly brand, not sure if it works as there is no smell and not much foam. Bit was cheap too RM 1 ringgit but u have to look carefully some has oredi turned yellow.
Any idea, whether the sale is still good for these 2 weeks? I am looking for some crib sheets, comforter and the main thing crib bumper cot? Anyone has any idea whether these stuff are still available at the sale?

If you are looking for baby house clothes that are cheap and comfortable, now Giant (Tmn Connought in Cheras, but not sure if other Giant branches are doing the same or not) is selling 2 short-sleeved tops and 1 singlet (i.e., 3 pieces of tops in a set) for RM6.99. Another is 2 long pants and 1 shorts (also 3 pieces of bottoms in a set) for RM7.90. Giant labelled it as stock clearance.
Also don’t be mistaken about the Kiko warehouse sale in Puchong…it only sells children clothes for ages 1-14 only. Baby clothes are NOT included in this warehouse sale.

I went there again last week, not many choice, my friend brought a baby T shirts, 12-18 mth, rm5, NOT CHEAP! simple shorts plant, 1 years old, also rm5. the tap is shown rm7.90. I think last year clothes is batter n cheap. I waiting for Poney Sales, anyone know that when is the warehose sales coming?

Thanks for the info. Are those clothes with ‘eyelet holes design’? I dun want to buy those for my bb cos sometimes we on the aircon and she might catch a cold from it. Therefore I prefer those all covered bb tops. Any mummies know whether other Giant like the ones in 1U has the same offer?

The Giant baby clothes I mentioned are fully T-shirt cloth type, NO eyelet holes. Good offer! The Giant in Tmn Connought, Cheras is the hypermarket type. Also, all Giant hypermarket outlets are now selling baby onesies (or rompers) with nice printed cartoon picture with short sleeve and shorts-like bottom for RM8.98. I noticed most stores sell baby onesies for at least RM16, 17, 18, 19 or 20. So I think that baby onesies is good buy also. THe baby onesies offer is until 10th Feb 08 (if I don’t remember wrongly).

I think Hytex has increased the price gradually as the warehouse sale goes on. I went twice on 23 Dec 07 and 6 Jan 08 and found that baby clothes has not yet gone up in price as of that time (e.g. baby top with long sleeve is RM3, baby shorts like the one you mentioned is RM3), but on 23 Dec 07, the stroller sold for RM100 has gone up in price to RM150 by 6 Jan 08.

the quality so far is good. but a little small so don’t follow the recommendation eg. 6 to 12 months but my girl who is 4 months is able to fit in nicely. She is tall but normal size.
