I was at Parkson Gurney Penang recently during the school holiday sale and bought an Elle handbag. The promoter told me it was an agent controlled item and hence no discount was given. After buying the bag, I found out that another departmental store (Sunshine Square) gave a 20% discount for the same item during the same period of time. The bag cost me RM209. I am not pleased at all. What does Parkson have to say? 11 June 2008
