Why is Jodi Picoult’s latest book Change of Heart too expensive. Is it still RM54.50. All my 14 Jodi Picoult books I bought at RM35.50 and most are 30 percent discount. Will the books be discounted at tomorrow’s sale?

The discounts are for ALL books, so I guess that would also include Lonely Planet Books. The Jodi Picoult book price, I have no idea, probably because it’s thicker? Just like the Harry Potter series whereby the price kept increasing with every book.

To idzan
You could also check out Borders - they r having 20% on fiction titles if you buy 2 books or more, not sure if Jodi Picoult if included maybe call up n check. Promotion ends this week. Harry Potter n the Deathly Hallows is going for RM49.90 (hardback) in Popular at Ikano Power Centre. (finally!)Time to add the last book to my collection…tn must find time to read…so many books so little time n money, must save where possible! wonder when the next times warehouse sale will be? Got lots of new books there at RM10/12/15, books which r still selling at full price now…

Dear El and Airnigma,
Tx for the info. Will check it out. Need the Jodi Picoult book to add to my library collection. Don’t know why it’s so expensive. Maybe something to do with the oil price increase. You guys should read Jodi Picoult books. One book and you are hooked. Luckily my Harry Porter Collection is complete. My gal’s rather. I agree with you EL. So many books and so little money. Most of my books I bought at warehouse sales and also at Payless. Trying to complete my collection of books by Anne Tyler, Sue Miller aside from Jodi Picoult.
