The male leather shoe that I bought for myself and my dad on their last year warehouse sale only lasted less than 6 months before the side start to crack (which means beyond repair). It’s really comfortable but really disappointed on how fast the shoe start to fallen apart.
August 12th, 2008 at 11:46 am
if that’s true.. BOO!!!! to Clarks!!!
let’s boycott them for selling bad stuffs!
August 12th, 2008 at 12:01 pm
Yes, the same goes for a pair of shoes which I bought two years ago during their warehouse sales. Paid RM110.00. The glue has dried up and cracked and the sole separated from the shoe within six months of my wearing it. I sent it to a good cobbler who stitched the two parts together and it cost me RM25.00. That pair lasted me 1 1/2 years.
So we have to be careful when buying shoes from warehouse sales. Sometimes the shoes they are selling are so old that the glue has dried and cracks easily.
On the other hand, I also bought a pair of court shoes and a pair of mules 2 1/2 years ago during their warehouse sales and am still using them. So it all depends on your luck!!

any shoes for kids?
August 12th, 2008 at 12:22 pm
what are the prices like??? are they really cheep? coz at hush puppies warehouse sale most of their shoes are under rm 100, cheepest i ever bought is rm 20 for a pair of sandles, is this sale like that also???
August 12th, 2008 at 12:23 pm
yaya, last year warehouse shoes my hubby buy a pair of sandal
which got only 20%(or 25%) , cost RM185 oso crack within 6 months..
v dont know how to glue it because it crack very serious..
v are very very disappointed on it..
August 12th, 2008 at 12:23 pm
Dear friendz,
i think they are selling products which are not up to their standard (which means rejected). the same happened when i went to lewre sales early this year. i bought 1 pair at RM80 (not that cheap but cheaper if compared to their own brand). it cracks on the second day i wear it…so frustrated…
August 12th, 2008 at 12:32 pm
i bought 4 pair shoes for me n my doter………
still in good condition……….
me n my doter still wearing it…………
August 12th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
do you all know that shoes also has expiry date….as most of you experience, the crack caused by glue dry off.
August 12th, 2008 at 12:56 pm
ish..i am dispointed about all response..must joint that warehouse sale, but not confident..anything refer to luck that shoe conformtable or not…
August 12th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
bought one pair last year from same warehouse, but find that hush puppies more comfortable then clarks… dont you think so
August 12th, 2008 at 1:15 pm
so its not worth to go there!!!
quality decrease
August 12th, 2008 at 1:25 pm
actually i’m in the shoe business.. every shoe regardless whut’s the brand it’s, if u keep it in you rak kasut lama2, the shoe will crack itself.. kasut2 ni x boleh biar lama2 kalau x dia merekah sendiri. same goes to kasut yg ada kt rumah tu.. x kesahla mahal ke murah ke kasut ni. sports dhoe, sneakers, boots, casual, office shoes… semuanya sama konsep. u kene pakai ganti2 supaya tahan lama. sebab 2 kebanyakan shoe maker derang akan buat warehouse sale sbb kalau x jual kasut tu akan rosak dgn sendirinya.. langsung xde harga. so pengajara is.. to the ladies, jgn la buat perhiasan kasut anda….
August 12th, 2008 at 1:28 pm
aisehh.. duit xdok
August 12th, 2008 at 1:36 pm
Anyone knowsss..when hush puppish warehouse sale? normally at armada hotel, tis yer blom lagi i think..
August 12th, 2008 at 1:58 pm
yeke..baru ingat nak pergi.. why there are more negative comments from positive one? memang tak worth ke
August 12th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
in my opinion, kasut clark itself depends on the weather..our country is different. so quality of the shoes maybe not up to our standard..
i have a pair of sandle that my bro bought from uk.. 20 pound per pair..and add 1 pound for 2nd pair..really worth buying..ok je smpai skrg..so u cannot blame the clarks it self..it’s depend on luck actually..
just my 20 cents

found out about G2000 warehouse sale!!!
G2000 warehouse sale..thanks trailsshoppers - trailsshoppers.blogspot.com/2008/08/g2000-warehouse-sale-29th-august.html
August 12th, 2008 at 4:47 pm
I was so excited over the last warehouse sale and spent 1k ++, but my conclusion is that Clarks are so overrated! the heels, slippers, wedges were all not comfortable at all! especially the heels i bought, it was a formal black peep toe open back heels, was so painful after wearing for a few hours! so i\’m not going this time..
August 12th, 2008 at 5:00 pm
anyone know bout the perfume warehouse at corus hotel?worth to go or not…i want to buy coffret for wedding laa…
August 12th, 2008 at 5:30 pm

August 12th, 2008 at 5:31 pm

since i wear odd size and clark definately have my size!!!!
August 12th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
yeahh ..it depends on your luck!! i bought two pairs last year ..and still in good condition. eager to go again this yearr
August 12th, 2008 at 7:13 pm
i am looking for my younger sister’s sandal@ shoes. She is wearing size 10. Is is worth to go @ am I able to find one ?since at clark outlets the size is only up to size 9
August 12th, 2008 at 8:35 pm
Well, I don’t know why with all the negative comments. Last 2 years I bought a pair of boots and it’s comfy and still is in a perfect condition till now. Last year, my husband bought 3 pairs as he has a plus size feet and I bought 1. Eventually all of them are in a good condition till now. What ever it is, for me clarks is worth buying after scholl with their comfy-ness and their robust-ness.
August 12th, 2008 at 8:46 pm
for those who had experience with this warehouse sale could u guys brief / eplains more about the price. how much the discount etc etc etc….price after discount. price depends on type of shoes….etc etc
really wanna know.
August 12th, 2008 at 10:00 pm
yup..mary…so i dont know whether to go to clarks or hush…as for hush i know i can get nice office shoe for rm 40, 60 or 80..i have know idea whats the price for clarks shoes at the sale…can anyone help….what are the discounts like…
August 12th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
i went almost of clarks ws, since 2005-bought 1 sandals. 2006-not in m’sia. 2007-bought 2 pairs. now i have 5 pairs clarks shoes. the one that i bought from uk, only 25 pound, still lasting till now - almost 6 years! i guess, for this year, may be one from the long Q is me
August 13th, 2008 at 8:15 am
the price is about 50-70% disc…..
my last yr experience…..
i bought one shoe at rm120….next day go to the butik….
still got that design n the price is rm238…
my doter sandal… as cheap as rm30…
August 13th, 2008 at 9:43 am
the same thing happend to me, when i bought a shoe, which last me for 1 year only, then all the rubber like plastic, drop off and the shoe had to be throw… so sad……..
August 13th, 2008 at 9:51 am
wished to buy Clarks, but after readg the comments, i think its not worth my trip.
I think the stocks are super old, thats why they crack. I had a hush puppies, hardly worn as feet expended due to pregnancy. When i took it out after 2 years, the side cracked. so sayang…
So, i guess, depends to luck too, or maybe can bend the shoes to see its condition b4 buying.
will wait for u ol comments after the sale……………. good luck to those going
August 13th, 2008 at 10:21 am
I bought a pair for my son. It cracked within months. On the other hand, the pair that I am using is still good after being worn for nearly a year.
Few pairs are discounted at 60%-70%. Most are only at 30% discount.
The problem is we don’t know which pair lasts long and which pair doesn’t. So, it is really luck. I saw some spending about RM 1,000 at this warehouse sale. If all pairs are good, they’ve got good deals. If half is good, they might be buying at standard prices. If none is good, they are losing all the money.
Additional costs going to this warehouse sale includes filling up fuel (money) and being in a long queue (time and energy).
August 13th, 2008 at 11:45 am
all of u…. dont complaint so much if u think want to go just proceed la….this is warehouse maa….
August 13th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
Without those feedback a.k.a complaint, we dunno what we gonna get. it’s not wrong if we make comments after all we’re the one gonna spend our money for those seller,so must think wisely maaa… Y? u one of the Clarks staff heh?
August 13th, 2008 at 2:01 pm
from previous experience, in 2006, i bought 2 pairs of shoes for rm 90 each. and both r still good till today, just the fact tht the slippers i bought look super dirty becuz i chose white. but they are my everyday uni flats, so no complains, i mean u pay rm 90 for it as opposed to rm 218.
me n my mom alwayz tend to buy clarks and tht too at original prices, but bear in mind that it is true that most clarks are not comfortable. as far as heels go, some of them are hard, and then the place where u put ur foot starts peeling off. in my personal opinion, the pair of white flats i bought for rm 90 r the most comfy flats i ever have. and afterall when u wear a particular shoes everyday, it is bound to give way in time to come due to wear n tear. the cheapest i saw when i went was rm 70 i think. but i think it goes up to 170 or so. im not quite sure . as for sizes, clarks size 9 is UK 9 which is a size 10 US if im not mistaken. having said that, ive been looking to buy a clarks slipper, but due to the expensive prices, i refrained. was waiting for this warehouse sale
August 13th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
thinking to go, but now half-hearted… emmm
August 14th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
probably it’s true that clarks is one of the ideal footwear for comfort…
but the point is, if you’re buying a shoe that’s about to crack anytime soon, you think it’s worth getting all ’special’ discount for a shoe that will not last you long?
well, i mean, if the organizer of this event stated that the products offered might be defect or so forth, then it’s acceptable… if never mention, then i think it’s cheat. definitely wrecking clarks reputation for their top-notch quality.
August 14th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
but clarks shoes not so nice lah the design.
August 14th, 2008 at 8:39 pm
clarks was initially designed for comfort.
August 14th, 2008 at 10:57 pm
I have a pair of Clarks shoes bought at full price (RM500+ after conversion) which I don’t wear that often, maybe in total 1 week in a month. When first bought, wore it every other day coz it’s so comfy. Know when i bought the shoes? It was back in the year 2000/2001!!! The shoe is still in perfect condition. Shape, colour and sole still good.
It’s made in UK. Those selling at boutiques here are Made in Malaysia. Quality wise, not as good as the Made in UK ones. However, I doubt they ever make it in UK now.
Still thinking whether I should go or not. Most of my shoes (non-Clarks) spoilt, cracked as mentioned here, coz I didnt wear them for a couple of months when I was pregnant. In need of shoes now and I love Clarks (at least my good ol’ faithful pair).
August 15th, 2008 at 11:53 am
just coming back from the clarks warehouse sale.. reach there at about 935am. already que from the entrance gate.manage to get 1 wedges and 1 loafers (RM100 each). my fren manage to buy 1 court shoes (RM90) and i think its really worth it.. got this one preggy lady.. dah la dtg lambat.. potong que pulak tu.. %$#^*%^$&*.. anyway.. on the way out from the warehouse the que oredi sampai hujung jln besar.. fuhh luckily me n fren come earlier..
August 15th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
any kids shoes?
August 15th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
I love clarks shoes esp the original design.. didn’t go to the sandal counter.. to many people.. i went as early as mie2.. yup, people mmg ramai.. kids shoes xde.. i bought a desert boot for rm100, and poppy shoes for rm100. the mary jane i bought last year still intact only beaten because i used it everyday, guess i’m the lucky one.. the counter lady said there’s more discount on the last day, but i guess the size is also limited..my shoes original price are all above rm200 i guess, if u are wondering about the discount.. so good luck and i agree if anybody wanted to give their opinion here.. that’s matters to people who wanted to make a keputusan, betul tak.
August 15th, 2008 at 1:47 pm
axieey,
Sory this year no kids shoes. I just bought 2 shoes. 1 high heel sandal RM50 nad another sandal RM90. I queue start from 9am
August 15th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
I was there at 11.50am and the queue was super duper long. I waited for 1 hr and can’t stand the heat, so i went back empty handed. I anticipated that at least to take another hour for me to get into the warehouse. I don’t know how good the deal is, but i saw so many of them bought not less than 10 pairs. I went to Clarks warehouse in 2006, but the response was not that terrible. I managed to get in and bought a lot and i’m wearing size 7, which is equivalent to 4.5 for Clarks. Still wonder should i give it a try after work. What say you all?
August 15th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
heidi- me only spend time at original counter but pretty sure size 4.5 tiada, but i don’t know bout other counter. and for men original shoes, wallabies, desert boot and boat shoes, mostly are around rm180.
August 15th, 2008 at 2:10 pm
Sobs… i’m looking for court shoes and boots. Any nice boots, bargainhunter?
August 15th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
ok, thanks whatever. now i’ll rethink my plan to go tomorrow morning..
August 15th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
Bukan Warehouse Sale tapi Storehouse Sale je!
Terlalu ramai orang, kawasan kecil sangat.
August 15th, 2008 at 2:42 pm
I juz come back from the clark sale…i went 1pm today
huh…long queue….so many people….queue until the road side….
waited for 40 minutes before can enter the sale area…
the guard alllowed us to enter group by group…
when i entered the sale area, hundreds of people inside…very very crowded
i squeezed in..and go to the shoe booth…asl for shoes but the salesgirl said…NO SIZE, FINISH etc etc…
after 5 minutes, i cabut la….
if i wish to buy, another problem is…very very long queue to pay…only have 2 or 3 cashier….huhuhu
if anyone wish to go, please be early to avoid the crowd…
my personal opinion, this sale have NO variety of pattern, limited stock, no size n the sale area is too small ..!!
August 15th, 2008 at 3:09 pm
this year sales is much more terrible then last year. more ppl, more crowded.i went at 955am think it was almost 12pm when i managed to get in. The designs were not as good as last year. If u r young , mid20’s to early 30, my advice, DUN WASTE YOUR TIME. this is just my own poijnt of view la. the designs available are quite matured this year even foro the ‘original’ series.
Then, small size3-4 , not many left. if u r wearing size 5 for normal shoes, size for clarks is usually 1 size smaller.
SO, i ended up took a few rounds & left with empty hands. At 1st, thought of buying one pair since spent so long to Q. But then, I managed to overcome my emotional feeling & didnt buy just for the sake of buying.
My advice to all the parents: PLS DUN BRING YOUR KIDS, I REALLY DUN UNDERSTAND WHY. THERE R PPL WHO BROT 2-3 MONTHS BABY THERE.
My god, really pity the babies.
It is hot, and u gotta Q under the hot sun, and yet not sure will get tour size , the colour & the design u like.
Another thing i dun understand, CLarks just dun learn from mistakes. They printed out the photos of shoes in A4 paper, then u need to see & ask for the design & size u want. They will give u the full pair if u want to buy.
SO, ladies & gentlemen, can u imaginne how much time they take to find out for us?? so end up they became very rude. I think the organiser really need to seriously think abt this system.
It tortured not only the consumers but also their staffs.
Shoppers, Think twice!! I have been to Hush Huppies, i think it is much more comfortable & easier to shop.
August 15th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
the clarks sale is really buang masa for me…
dun waste your time guys…
August 15th, 2008 at 5:19 pm
I went there at 11.00am with my fren, Q is already at the road, so hot some more.. Pitty my friend she iw pregnant but after all there are few pregnant lady was there also and even one lady who had broken arm also there.. funny to think of it. I have been to so many warehouses before and this is the worst. we have to waited for 2 hours to go inside. during my time, peoples are seems to have no patient to wait so they keep pushing, from 2 line becomes like so crowded.. since we are already almost about to enter, so what to do, wait lah a bit more, thought that a bit more, seems like so long.. well the shoes there not bad at all, not like in Loewe we could not find any nice pair at all. There are many choices to choose from , just that the crowd is something we could not stand. I managed to grap 2 sandals at 100 each and one like kasut sarung with bit of heel at 50/- so ok lah. Beside the crowds so many, and uncontrollable attitude of some whom are doesnt care about others, the shoes are quite allright. i love the clark of its comfortable better than others.. so for those who wanted to go there, just go there early lah.. i tried to go again on sunday to buy my mom sandal raya hehehe, if not so crowded lah..
August 15th, 2008 at 5:57 pm
i reach this sale around 8.30am….
about 20 ppl wait there already..
just q…..they only allow us to in ngam ngam 10 am…..
overall just okay to me….
so frustrated bcoz no kids shoe………..
August 15th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
I just came back from warehouse sale…Syiok.. The shoes that i bought last 2 years… reduce to RM100… wah!! banyak rugi ooo….. Now i realize, always waiting for warehouse sale if you want to get cheaper and cheaper… And and… please come earlier… and I spent about RM190. ok lah tuh….
August 15th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
update… i just got back from the sale. i got there at about 2.20 pm i think and there was a que from the main gate. but it was moving so not all tht bad. got in at 3 pm. i was lucky because i knew i only wanted flats so i managed to get a beautiful white pair and black pair of flats in my size (uk
for rm 190 . its a good deal for me . because these slippers can last agesss. and theyre soo comfy. but sizes are limited. if u have big feet, then ur quite lucky. the smaller sizes were all gone. i spent abt 20 minutes to pick my shoes and look around. and paying was a breeze this time if u pay with cash the line is pretty short (barely a line) but the credit card line was bloody long. i overheard the leader there saying that more pairs of shoes are coming tomorrow but they dont know what designs or sizes.
August 15th, 2008 at 8:35 pm
Hey ya all’ !I was there around 2.45pm. there was a queque but it wasn’t that long. probly bcoz it was after lunch break. I managed to leave ard 4.50pm right b4 the payment queque got long ;-). True enuf most of the size 5 n 6 were gone. But i did manage to get myself a pair of sandal for rm100. but got to say that the men’s sandals were still quite expensive…most of em were above rm100. in contrast to what ancient mentioned, i overheard that tomorrow there were no more new stock for common sizes; 5&6. Wish all those goin tomorrow Best of Luck!
August 15th, 2008 at 8:36 pm
any1 care to snap whatver shoes that were bought from the sale? i would really love to see it. some kata ade yg cantik some kata x cantik. confuse lah.
August 15th, 2008 at 8:45 pm
wahh.. so lucky lah you all the late comer.. may be we are the earlier comer are so ancious and kamchong about the warehse sales , thats why so crowded in the morning.. then i think i can go again, macam tak puas hati lah sebab so crowded cant see much sebab kena push2 so much..
Min, i think most of the shoes , sandals are quite cantik also, if not takkan lah each person keluar with at least one pair of shoes or sandal.. sorry i dont take the picture of the shoes…
August 15th, 2008 at 8:51 pm
went there just now around 12pm, the que was already long. n as usual, there were few who tak malu go n potong que. i was inside abt 1 hour later. the crowds ramai giler! compared to last yr. they should think of doing it in other place which are larger to cater for more crowds as ppl will be waiting for this sale every year. i did not get myself anything this yr (takde yg i minat). last yr got myself 2 pairs n a pair for my nephew.. this yr no kids’ shoes. is it just me or anyone think that the male crowds this yr is more compared to previous yrs?? n for u guys who are planning to go there, pls pls pls do not leave the shoes u dont want on the floor.. at least put back at the counter where u got those shoes
August 15th, 2008 at 11:34 pm
i reached there at 4pm sharp n managed to go in aft 15 mins of waiting. evrytg went smooth. not so hot n crowded. me n my sis bought 1 pair of white sandal n 1 pair mary jane. very cheap……. nice + smart
eventhough the crowd was not bad but we still can pusing2 for few times b4 decide. paying at counter went on smooth. no traffic jam at all. except for cash.
my advise for those going 2mrw… dont come very early.its just wasting time. come aft 3.
anyway its worth buying
GOOD LUCK
August 16th, 2008 at 6:15 am
hehe, mix reaction giler.. good to hear peole who didn’t had such bad experiance as others going there.. i pun rasa kalau nak dtg early, come really early or dtg je late trus.. i nak balik kpg, have fun going there weekends, i heard from last year, the crowd will be bigger in the weekends, hehe, by the way i can send the pic to your email min, i bought desert boot and poppy seed, if u want to see my shoes la..
August 16th, 2008 at 8:00 am
Thanks hally. thats a relief!
bargainhunter, i would love to see it. emel me at brain_damage7@hotmail.com
thanks!
August 16th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
oh by the way, for ladies who r going tomorrow, if u r interested in flat slippers, i picked up a nicer black pair from the mens section for rm 90. i honestly dont think any man would wear those kind of designs, and they had it in black red and beige i think. when i got home, i told my dad to try them n see if it would look good, and true enuf, it looked gay! it looked sooo much better on my feet! haha so check out the mens section too..
the slippers we re type that holds your big toe and a strap with buckle across you foot. however, i still dont know if those slippers r meant for men, women or unisex…
August 18th, 2008 at 11:43 am
the worst warehouse sale experience ever! went there on saturday morning,my gosh i’ve never gone to a warehouse sale where u haff to queue up so long when they let in just a few limited number of ppl at one time to avoid crowd during the sale! it is so ridiculous dat u haff to que up like a kid queueing up waiting for their turn to get into a ‘rumah hantu’! pity to some old couples aged 50++ who might be a diehard fan to clarks shoe, they were still willing to que up under the hot sun with the long que somemore. Luckily it was a worth buy. Bought 3 pairs of office shoe for just RM90 + a wedges that cost only RM100! luv the wedges so much! i hope dat the mngmt of clarks would improve the sale system in n treat their customer with manner in da future.
August 18th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
agree with u ckn
its the worst also 4 me
never experience like this
i went on friday…yah it tooo late, peak time
reach there at 1 pm..long q outsite gate..hot..hungry somemore
not good time
able to get in by 2.15 pm
bought 2 pairs, rm90 and 50.
love the shoes very much. sooo…it worth
August 19th, 2008 at 9:23 am
i’ve go there on sunday…not much shoes anymore…
my bf buy a pair of shoes..rm100..normally it cost rm299..
i’ll waiting for the timbeland warehouse sale…n i suggest that u all better go for that w/house sale…its nice n really cheap!
August 19th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
my friend bought 5 pairs and her sis bot 4 pairs, and i did’t go huhu…. so sad so jealous huhu…
