miu & tubbies: u guys have always been keeping us updated on these kind of sales. thanx so much for all the info!!!!!!!!!!!!! but just to confirm is this the 1 with the luxury perfumes? cos i really wanna get my hands on the perfumes since it’s so expensive at retail stores. but also wanna know r these old stocks??

i’ve been to this sale on apr08, reli worth going. the biotherm products range from rm20-rm200, moisturisers/toner=rm30onli, the rest got at least 50%,
lancome, cleanser/moisturiser/toner=rm100
the perfumes finish fast..
shu uemura counter was crowded with ppl..
the queue to get in was super long. i reached there at 10am, managed to get in by 12pm..ppl start queuing from the extrance till uob bank..
imagine under the hot sun..

my prev experience with loreal sale somewhere in may or june, it was really really really bad,…in fact it was the worst one ever…it was also a one day event start at the same time also like 10 am..i reached there at 9.30am and the queue was until lot 10 at that time….and i went in at about 12.30 pm…can u imagine..and those who has went in earlier has borong lots of coffret and the popular perfumes and when i went in only left those not so popular perfumer…and the staff was very rude..shouting at the customes like nobody’s business..well what do the staff expect when u have only 1 day event and the room is so small…and the cashier is cramped in the middle..they even have to close for 15 mins and chase us out to get things organize back again…my fiance were with me during that suffering moments and he told me i better buy sumthg after quieing almot 3 hrs if not he will kill me…so i bought tresor lancome for RM70 and ralph lauren romance for guys (last one ok after much digging n smelling armpits)i hope u guys will not face the same thing this time around…but honestly the perfumes they have are good ones especially ralph lauren…

Personally I won’t go and here’s the reason :
1. 1 Day event and Sat some more which means super big crowd. Be prepared for not only hours of standing but pushing as well.
2. Had really bad experience with Loreal Luxury Division warehouse sale in the past as no matter how big the crowd waiting outside they won’t bother and instead keep calling VIP to enter first and only open to public sharp at 10.
If you want to go, here’s my suggestion:
1. Go there super early maybe 6 or 7 something, sit in next to entrance and chit chat with each other to kill time (better wait in the hotel for hours and be early bird grabbing all the goodies instead of standing outside under hot sun for hours and damage your own skin and health (polluted air).
2. If you got any friend working in Loreal, try get the VIP pass from them. By doing so you can legally cut the Q and go in before 10.

yes this is the one…i went to the last one that they had in April ….worth it coz lots of nice perfume (ie Ralph rocks and hot were rm 60 Ralph cool and ralph were a bit more expensive rm 100 for 50 ml - i m a big Ralph fan ) ….but like always…check the manufacturing date. As for lining up be early to que i think around 8.00 should be ok but try not to be later then 9.00 coz i think the que would be very long by then .
The thing is they would open the doors at 9 am for vvip ie their business associates and at 10 am then they open to public so no mater how early you line up ….most of the best stuff is already taken either by their staff or business associates. ok the other thing…people who come late please dont cut que….not nice lah…

Allyssa: yea this is the luxury sale but it’s only one day so that’s not a good! bcoz it’ll be jam packed, and q would most likely start really early.
However I’ve been to their previous sales, so far I just went after opening hours, got in and walk around, bought armani she n he n armani code then left. Many counters open, not bad crowd (last year). This year I would advice just go early, beat the crowd as it’s only 1 day meaning.. maybe something like estee lauder going to happen! arghh..

only things about SHU UEMURA worth to be eyeing is :
1) CLEANSING OIL : norm price is RM 280
2) BRUSHES : norm ranging price RM 90+ to 900++
3) eyelash curler : norm price is rm 50 ++
this is most tip top item from shu uemura for me and most LAKU items
well for ARMANI i guess just their perfume kinda top but depends what avaiable
for biotherm and lancome ( blanc expert is real good )
but anyone have any idea the price range? or about how many % off from their norm price ?? bcus if not much then not very worth going reason is :
1) too many ppl CROWDED
2) maybe after my turn all items GONE . left rubbish T____T aka unwanted
3)stand so long maybe go in no mood to buy anymore
4) not sure worth or not ( if rm30++ then can consider erhm….sorry i am cheapskate ) if ask me que so long time and maybe risk ppl cut my que and not that damn cheap then i wont go …..wasting my EFFORT lol lol

actually last time i go to their luxury sale, their perfume not really so much % off. Probably 40% averagely off..
I bought Armani Code also RM190 (it’s new perfume so more pricey)
Armani She & He, rm80 or 90 each (i bought 2 to make couple perfume)
Bought ralph lauren romance rm120 i think for my friend can’t remember size..
and the facial whitening that cost under rm30 from loreal duno what range forgot ahahhaa..

sounds like this warehouse is pack of ppl and perfume also bit pricy compare with others warehouse. Will go see see…but maybe nt in the morning..go noon time..wan to avoid those long Q. Q for long hours end up go in just grabs one or two things…i think my bf will screw me up …

well i went for the one in may/june too n TOTALLY agree that their crowd control is really really bad…but if you are a fan of like biotherm skincare prods esp then mebbe u cud go at bout 7am lepak wait around can go in early.

Haha.. finally the much awaited sale is here, eh? Luckily I’ve planned to be in Sabah that day, otherwise i might just be one of the millions Q-ing to get in.. huhu.
Chomy & Miu: Dearies, it sez on the poster “5 pieces PER ITEM per customer”, not 5 pcs per customer. That means, u can only take for example, 5 shu uemura oil cleansers + 5 lancome mascaras + 5 anything + etc PER customer. So rest easy, ok? U can still shop your little hearts out.. huhu.
Tubbies: Have a safe trip! Sorry havent been able to respond very quickly to ur smses.. my whole family had food poisoning last weekend and im still sick till today.. huhu. Just hope i get well enuff for my Sabah trip.. wish me luck!

i agreed with some of you, better don’t waste time and go. the previous sale is very bad and not organize at all. the staff from the company also look like shit.
the items is cheap but we are paying money to buy the and the staff is showing their face. so…….. DON’T GO and DON’T WASTE TIME…
The sale from luxasia i believe is coming soon, so wait for a while…

hmmm… I’m definitely agree wit Jan & Queen… Not onli on tat, n some of the customers r very rude!! Keep pushing & stepping on other ppl foot… I kena once, almost cried cuz d lady was wearing high heels, she is so ‘GENG’!!! So, I had a veri bad experience….. woooo~~
I went the previous 1 in d early morning… Lancome, Biotherm-not much less, average RM20~RM40 onli… Shu Uemura- totally all gone!!! (cuz I’m tis 3 brands regular user) Perfume-30%~40%…. (Perfume counter totally veri packed, I can’t get in! I onli got few perfumes fr other customer “rejected plastic bag” on d floor… haha! but d 1 I look 4….)

i wen to the shu sales at their office, they don’t seem friendly.
but i’ve been to their luxury perfumes sales and i didn’t have bad experience there, it was park royal hotel not at Dataran Hamodal but i guess all the sales people are the same (whether it’s this or that category sale).
we all write official complaint letter after this sales if there is any unsatisfactory treatment ok?
sale or no sale, they should be on their best service! we still pay good money for their products!

Hi Sheeda,
You can park in the Park Royal car park but of course it will be pretty expensive by the time you leave (hotel parking rates applys)…..
Or else you can park at Lot 10 next door and walk over to Park Royal (short distance only).
Alternatively you can park at Sg. Wang Plaza or BB Plaza and walk across the road.
Don’t worry there will be lots of places to park as you are planning to be there at the early hour of 8am.

gals….if you park in the hotel…try to get the parking card validated …so you can enjoy flat parking rate no matter how long you park. usually at hotel functions they would have a small table to stamp the parking card or go to the reception counter of the hotel…..or ask their staff …hope that helps…

errr……i went to this sale last yr and well….i do have some complaints but not much…..infact i am of the view tht they did quite a good job on the crowd control….i mean no doubt that there are VIP who masuk 1st but then they have to be there b4 10 am..imagine wat time they hv to wake up just to be at the sale by 8am. I came ard 10.30 am and i considered myself to be one of the lucky ones cos i managed to be inside the hotel queing (no hot sun for me
thank god!!). There was also a food stall set up by the hotel mgt (i think) to sell some snacks and drink (pricy lah) to ppl who are waiting for their turn to masuk the room.
anyway, once u r inside the room, u dont feel the heat or the pushing crowd…..u can pick and choose ur items leisurely…….except for shu eumura section……if i hv anything to complain, it would be on the shu eumura staffs…bunch of rude ppl……seriously…especially the male sales person….cannot stand him….suka-suka close sale…..the nerve of him…i mean we are there to buy, but he could actually instruct his staffs to stop selling the producst to us simply because the crowd became too rowdy for him to control….
all in all i am quite satisfied with the whole thing..although I didnt buy tht many stuffs….its the thrill of going to the warehouse sale that spurs me on….

im not going to their sales as their crowd control is really bad. they are having such sales for so many times, but they have no improvement at all.
at 1st everybody will Q nicely. when almost 9.00am, they started to distribute plastic bag, then most of the people will go infont to get the plastic bag and ends up just stand in front (not going back to their original Q). then the staff start shouting at us to have the Q with 2 person in 1 row. im wonder y not they control this when all the people start queuing??
VIP already went into the sales at that time, some with VIP card i think, some even using message from their HP (they claim that they were invited thru message) to go into the sales earlier.
they can improve their crowd control if they want to. every1 will be in their Q and no need to push one another. those who come and Q earlier then can go in 1st. is fair enough.
the guess and lasenza warehouse sales having a very good crowd control when i went some where around may (at bangsar village).
im waiting for the luxasia sales…want to buy some perfume…
never been their sales before. usually where is the luxasia sales?

I experience myself b4 sales very cheap and worth value to buy expecially if u wanna buy 4 ur friends or gf or bf but the crowd totally like ’sardine’ cannot go in, sumore 1 day sales gonna really grab anything whatever they have, sometime wat i want oredi finish … they have sales last month at plaza hamodal but that only for cosmetics, not many people go there coz most of their stuff damaged and out of shape, broken and etc…but still sell RM5 each, make money ah…bcarefull when u buy products almost expired, check first….

to find way there. There’s actually some carparks behind n around this hotel, i park there once rm5 flat. However I would go for the car park since goin to go early and we can get our ticket validated!

yesterday thrusday 21/8/08 i parking car at sg.wang from roughly 11 noon to about 5 parking fees is RM 11 …..just wan to tell u guys incase who wana park in the shopping lots parking spaces…….hope it help

went there in May, park at Starhill RM5 per entry….the crowd were crazee and the staff can’t even contorl those freaks yang tak reti beratur…i hate them…i spent almost 1K hehe

i’ve been to last week parfume sale, oklah very cheap compare to the store so i borong “a lot”,now loreal aiseh man!!!! no money laa salary not get yet!!!
but i think all this sale its worh it bcoz its cheaper that the store,but the crowd just “dunno wat to say”too many!!! so who said malaysian people don’t have money, even now all the “barang” naik harga still we have to shopped!!!

dear all,
seems like many negative/bad comment on this warehouse sales, therefore am thinking that am not going for this sales. am stay in Klang and needs to travel all over to the KL,come early, q, then give to the special VIP people to come in first, wats a discrimination against us! i wont let myself to been treated bad by any people, ok? so girls think twice before u went for this sales. is it worth it for wat do u get? i dont think so…

Well done Loreal! its a much much better system! they let people in by batch and they have 30 minutes to shop and get out- then the next batch turn. I manage to be in the second batch eventhough i got there almost 10am. The price is the same as last year but i think not as much choice as before on perfume and skincare.

Yes they have a lot of armani code i think its about Rm 170.00 and the ralph lauren yes plenty the one in with hot pink box, they have lots of lancome miracle and tresor as well, cacharel, Shu Eumura perfume. not many people picking up on Armani code i think it still a bit expensive. i just bought one for a friend Armani summer mania Rm120.00.

armani code was selling at RM120 or RM150 if i’m not mistaken. summer mania was RM120 for 75ml. Romance was sold out pretty fast - a lot of polo black & ralph & explorer. For armani, acqua di gio finished fast too ..
a lot of lancome products but mostly manufactured in 2005. nice lipgloss & lipstick, quite a lot of stock. if you’re looking to buy perfume it may seem expensive but the retail price is mostly 200+, so for 100+ it’s quite a deal.

Erm..armani code is RM170 for 75ml..the biotherm product all are 06/07 product so its consider new!!!I bought two lancome foundation manufactured in 2007/09 and some lipgloss maunfactured in 2008/01..

ralph lauren romance woman, i saw for rm180 (forgot how many ml) it was the last piece around table, but tubbies didn’t want it.
i was there at 7am, first to sit down take pic hahaha..
the q system is still bad, but i can say improved since the last “barbarian attack” in apr.
why bad? bcoz i was first in line, but became no. duno what.. when the Garang Man ask all 4 lines to go infront (everyone didn’t understand him.. and we all headed for the one lane that was open (it was only for vip actually).
so he shouted at all of us to get back in our orginal lines (too late.. everyone mix up and gabung infront already)
but ok i was the front team to go in after VIP was out.
i can hear complains from the crowd on the VIP abusing their “guest privilege” coz apparently.. vip can only bring 1 guest? (Said the curly hair manageress at this warehouse) but see see, some vip bring in 5 guests, and can keep on coming out to “panggil kawan” inside. Even ppl who Q up, call their VIP friend (ter-serempak?) and get to go in also. Girls were saying they already got guest in, somore can bring more guests in. The staffs were inexperienced in handling this but nevetherless they’re charming guys.

Anyway i think i didnt go this time around cos going for cadbury sale tomw…but looking at the info miu has given, loeral still havent learn their lesson or probably the staff need to go for customer servive training or communication skills training..haha and as for the products, i think they have more branda compared to last sale…and i think it is pricier? i bought tresor for Rm100 if im not mistaken but im sure it is not more than 100 and romance silver set without box for RM80…what im disappointed most is that they have polo black and double black..i love the scent a lot..but its ok…i will overcome the disappointments by eating lost of chocs tom…hehe
