I go before guardian warehouse sales at a variety of venues. Not bad, a lot of skincare, supplements, and they had ferero rocher chocolates for sale (the box of 16 chocolates = rm10) grab like nobody business. Make Up Set for rm10 (color institute) St Ives Facial Scrub/Cleanser for rm6 or rm8.

That was when it was held at the stadium near tpm. Then Sin Chew Jit Poh, Hamodal etc.

  6. dell says:

i went to last 2 years guardian warehouse sale. not bad. a lot of item u could buy and good quality also. i bought 3 photo albums. if i not mistaken just rm7 for each but not more than rm10. i m sure about that. quit big and enough for 100 pic. they also had toileteries. my suggestion – go if u have something to buy and enough budget. worth it la juga..

  11. Mamasyira says:

it is not like watsons warehouse sale rite…they tuang barang elok every 1 hours & people have to grab…so dissapointed.

  12. Miu says:

I didn’t go to watson’s warehouse sales but sounds stress eh like that.

Guardian warehouse sales all is display in their proper places. Just the paying Q for certain places like dataran hamodal will be very long Q. Credit card machine alwiz KO also. Prepare with cash just to be safe.

  13. el says:

    Hi Miu

Always see your name …one hebat shopper, I think! How is the Guardian sale? Can you share what sort of stuff is available?

    Thanks lots…

  14. mickey says:

  15. 4pc says:

Went to its last sales, not bad la. Guardian alot of products n nice price. Can go again this time..Hehe.

  16. moshi says:

    Familiar wif Jetz…
    ok la…
    But d stuffs a bit boring…

  17. Miu says:

    pharmaceutical products (supplements, etc)
slimming products (pills, drinks, creams, etc)
    accessories (hair/body etc)
decor stuffs (soap dish, posters, bottles, tupperwares, photo frames, stuffs toys etc)
    snacks (chocolates, sweets etc)
    cosmetic (color institutes etc)

there are the variety i alwiz see coming up. But it depends on the venue size. During Sin Chew Jit Poh venue, it was quite small, but got variety of things. Bukit Jalil biggest i seen so far and Hamodal. Sometimes Guardian warehouse sales combine with other distributors to share place also. I notice this says “hari raya sales” with the sports brand advertised so it’s gona be more than just guardian stocks.

My aim was alwiz St Ives products, ferroro rochers, hershey’s kisses some snacks. I bought those for rm10 and under.

  18. ancient says:

uhh i just bought my st ives scrub and masque yesterday… damnn! cost me 26 bucks for both but still wroth it in my opinion. lasts for abt 3 months… st ives rocks!

  22. chris says:

hie can someone provide a map or directions to this place? not very familiar with damansara area cuz im from subang. thanks!

  23. miu says:

Atria Shopping Center (near GSC Head Quarter, EDS, Pizza Hut, Pos Malaysia)

    map: http://www.streetdirectory.net.my/malaysia/kl/travel/travel_id_222/travel_site_99/

  24. dakl says:

    Chris,
From subang, take the ldp highway, when you’r about to reach kelana lrt station,go down of the bridge and turn left after the bus station. Go straight while you pass by few traffic lights and a primary school to a traffic light when you see a row of shops on your left( gsc office, pizza hut ,711 etc) then turn right. after the traffic light turning, turn right again into the shoplots area and you’l see atria(Giant signboard),right opposite of public bank.

  25. synical says:

Might go check it out after work… since it’s near my place, haha…

  26. Miu says:

  27. lila says:

hi, i just come from the wh, for the guardian things was not attractive for me cos less things to buy , hopefully later will add in more stock.

i visit other stall, can find addidas sport shoe but i bought one lady shoe & 2 leather shoes branded polo for my hubby from other stall . it is cheap & nice . i think it is worth.

i may go again next monday after work

  28. qq says:

i went bc fr the sales. it is not worth it at all. Nothing to see and buy. All are old staff.
Better dun go just waste your time.
at down stair there is also a book fare. the story book all are very cheap.there are RM 1 story book. some book are new arrival and quite cheap.
haiz…tot the guardian sales will be worth to go…..but…so disappointed.
recommended to go the nose warehouse sales. it really worth. i buy a lot of shoe at there. all RM10 only…so cheap…

  29. winnie says:

can anybody tell me this sale is from wat time to wat time??thank you

  30. UncleD says:

Been there in the morning, so not many people. Nothing worth seeing at Guardian. But there’s one small section selling cloth at RM25 per kilo. I bought lots of baby cloth, they were made for Carter, Oshgosh etc. Quality is good. Average is RM3.50 per piece. I like it!

  31. lila says:

    winnie,

the time is from 11.00am to 9.30pm

  32. synical says:

I agree. Not worth going. I’d kick myself already if it wasn’t so near where I live.

If nothing else, the Big Bookshop downstairs should be worth the trip.

  33. Dolly says:

    Uncle D,
They sell cloths ah? The baby clothes you mentioned is up to how many months? Is it in good condition? Do they seperate by size or just grab a bundle to weight?

  34. UncleD says:

    Dolly,
yes, in good condition, from 3 month up. You got to spend some time to dig. Well, i spent an hour and got 6kgs of cloths!

  35. eanny says:

the last Guardian sale at wisma hamodal was better. This one in atria is probably what was left unsold from the last sale!

  36. miu says:

big bookstore i always go to get some cool books n childrens books. Recipe books so cheap also rm1-2 XD love that bookstore.

The clothing @ sports brand sale beside guardian, one sectio of rejected clothing goods (kids mostly) rm25 per kg. I saw one brand call “BarBiel” i almost thought it was Barbie, pinky n cute.

Also featuring Coles ware (20% off), Nike, Addidas, Hana lingerie (very cheap rm6 for bra). Shoes, clothings, t-shirts, belts etc.. something like Factory outlet. Dunlop, Louis jeans etc. The credit card sales people there also very aggresive, don’t know how many times I have tell her no until do ultraman pose.

Well overal not worth it this guardian sales. Wasting time go only. Some prices also not up yesterday morning. I only like the Colgate Mouth Wash rm10. Bought 1 set of Cool Rhino to drink rm2 each. Best guardian sales was Hamodal and Bukit Jalil Stadium wan.

  37. Jen says:

Agreed with miu. This guardian sales really dissapointing..
I was looking for St ives… but :( bit waste time if i dun stay nearby…
The skincare range are only biore and simple, cosmetics are fasio… Didnt bother to check on the prcie, sorry…
Howver, sunplay only for RM10, must really look for batch like 03/07 and 09/06… thats the recent stocks they hav, others are all 12/05…
The bath sponge & scrubs are RM 3, the stuffs on total image and mcwell…. ranges from RM8 onwards.. I like this range, especially their body scrub and moisturizer..

  38. shericheryi says:

i agree that this guardian sale is a disappoinment!! the guardian section is SO small i was shocked.. there are brands like simple, biore and sunplay. there were lip ice lipglosses too, but the packaging is so old, i don’t think anyone will date apply those on their mouths!

the only cosmetic brand is fasio – mascara ranging from rm15 – rm20, a few eyeshadows (i think 3 or 4 choices), lipstick, lipgloss.. i think that’s about all..

other things were not worth looking at already.. so i don’t think i need to tell here! oh and there were a few NICI items at rm5, quite nice.. but mostly chipped a little already.

i bought a fashio eyeshadow – rm15, but i forgot to take after paying (you have to pay for fasio items first, then only bring receipt to claim)!!!!!! so i have to go again later, i hope the sales person will still give it to me…

  39. miu says:

i got take pic of some things but no can’t upload yet aiseh..coz i not home. Now camping at another house.. renovation must take care.

yeah i agree with u girls, worst guardian warehouse sales n i also shock it’s so small.

veli old stocks.. n i was so hoping for St. Ives which they…..don’t have…………………….

  40. Needa says:

wasted my time n petrol n parking money aje
this is the WORST guardian warehouse sale i’ve ever been to

tak byk choice and barang2 tu semua mahal2 belaka….

  41. Beng says:

    got public transport go there?

  42. shopaholic says:

the landmark for atria shopping centre is kdu college..
if u turn in at the petronas opposite kdu in ss2,go all the way until u reach a T junction..
then turn left..u will find it on ur left..
    so how’s the sports section?
am looking for a pair of soccer boots..
    anyway,do their sports section big?
there’s another similar warehouse at batu caves just behind the bhp..
    anybody check it out already?

  43. rav3 says:

Guardian Sales was not good as the stocks is really super old looking and nothing interesting but the side corner which got RM25 per kg clothes was interesting. I manage to get alot of kids clothes for the orphanage kids and its worth it. Spend loads of hours here digging but overall it save me some money compare to buying from outside. Average out to abt RM 3 – 4 per piece. I bought about RM130 worth.

  44. bypasser says:

Agreed with all comments on Guardian sale. Not interesting.

However, I loved the RM25 per kg clothing section. But you need to have time to dig as it’s all kelam kabut. The adults clothing are mostly those super oversized ones. The kids clothing are worth it BUT please check properly. I got a kid’s hood jacket and I found a pretty big hole on the hood when I went home. Luckily it’s on the head part so I can easily stitch and it’s not visible (since how often would my kid use the hood anyway).

I was lucky at the sports section because I found a nice Colombia winter parka that was 70% off. I realised it was the last piece and I hung on to it tightly because there was another lady eyeing me to see if I would drop the jacket. Hahaha, from RM556 to about RM167, great quality and looks nice :)

The Big Bookshop warehouse store downstairs is “permanent” so you don’t need to rush to catch it. Last time they would have warehouse sales only few times a year. Now somehow that warehouse store is ALWAYS open. It’s my favourite bookshop :)

  45. snap some pictures to show how small the place is..

and what products they offer there..

though pic may look nice but… the stocks very old n dirty..
