I manage to grab the last bottle of Jlo perfume. But after i notice the manufactured date was june 2006. I immediately out it back.. no worth to buy if more than 2yrs old. N it was selling RM90 for 50ml. End up i just bought YSL sexy 50ml , JPG Summer 125ml, Bvlgari Omni 65ml and lotion. some cosmetics. Now waiting for Anna Sui warehouse, MUI, u knw when ? i think just over rite? on May 2008
I was there on last friday around 11am. It was pretty packed then… I que for 20 minutes just to get into the fragrance and cosmetics section. There wasn’t any clear sign board saying those entering to the Cosmetic section has to que up…. therefore, people just cutting into the Q and pushing each other like mad when the security people opens the line… phew.. luckily I’m not that fragile and small size, else, I would have jatuh lar.. Anyway, bought some Guerlain’s skin care.. quite good buy.

Hi May, thanks for your update here. I was there last Saturday. I think the paying counter is really organize but I think the sale is more suitable for young people rather than for family since most people go for perfume only.
If clearing off your perfume and cosmetic is one of the major objective, MJ team can consider having a ‘one day crazy cosmetic and fragrance clearance’ at all your department store country wide, or just in few of your chosen location. In that case, I think you can clear your whole warehouse in just one day. No additional manpower is require.
Besides, all your customer will come back so…. happy since they don’t need to go to such a far place just to get 1-2 perfume. Anyway, I think this will be a really generate lots of cash for MJ ahead of the economic turmoil next year. May should buy me a drink if you get a payraise for this idea, ok…? Ha ha..!
Anyway, I have a small feedback for May. Will your team consider extending your operating hour on a weekend?
By 7pm, there was a girl going around with microphone telling people that the counter is closing soon. Though some customer are still choosing their last piece of clothing, by 7:25pm, she bring the ‘microphone’ in front of the customer and say ‘we are closing in 5 minutes time, please make your purchase now..’! I saw one Malay customer virtually throwing all his purchase down and left angrily. He say ‘Apa ini? closing cepat cepat on a Saturday evening..!”
Anyway, just a feedback you may look into. Btw, can we have more children clothing and nice bedsheet, i.e: Disney Princess series in the next sale?
Considering the massive crowd in MidValley, I don’t know how people is going to sqeeze into your next sale.. Anyway, parking is going to be a real real big problem. Hope some creative reader can shed some light how we can takle the problem.

However, business hours from Monday to Saturday was till 7.30pm. Sunday and Monday was till 7pm. Will look into the business hours for the next warehouse.

I have 2 bottles EDC 100ml of bvlgari (au the rouge). bvlgari cofret set EDT 75ml + body lotion 200ml (au the blanc), bvlgari EDT 100ml (voile de jasmin), YSL make up kit set in beautiful box (touche eclat + mascara + lip gloss) – perfect for hantaran or christmas gift…
The one thing I really enjoyed about this warehousesale was the free Vico given out to everyone.
I was there on the first day and the payment line was horrendous by noon. Wished they had a better system for payment. Everyone was queuing all the way from the entrance just to find out that there were shorter lines inside.
Juz got news that , this coming sale in Midvalley is more to branded items n perfume as well.. they will have 30 cashier counters..
I bought extra stilas, jpg summer male all on my blog u can check out what I bought. I am not into marking up the price to re-sell so anybody interested anything just go my blog n say what u want.
If my friends don’t want it, i will be finding step-parents for my buys.
SY: the bvlgari the sales girl said it’s UNISEX woah. Male female also can use. But the smell is powdery wan.

i went there on the 1st day so managed to buy quite some..very good bargain, yet i dont know when on earth i’m goin to use them! haha all i can see was the tag SALE SALE and further cut down..haha but i could see there were others more eager than me that THEY bought boxes of perfumes (trust me, that’s y laa on 2nd day yg best2 n murah2 all gone already! )

May, suggest the warehouse sale for fragrance n cosmetic in future, separate from other items (household, children, elect, etc.) cos it seems that the actual pullling power here is the fragrance/cosmetic.
If u SEPARATE THE WAREHOUSE SALE, at least the housewives/family don have to crowd with the vain ones (haha).
Actually most ppl cannot resist this warehouse becos of the cosmetics/fragrance only la, I think. Becos these are the things u cannot get at normal shopping complex sales.
Most other things (household, children, elect, etc.) can get at normal sales (the genuine sales that are up to 70% discount).
I dunno about fragrance/cosmetic but other items, u ppl NO NEED TO BE SCARED THAT STOK HABIS so go in d afternoon n preferably not 1st day. Then u won’t see the massive queue.
(The MORNING QUEUE even not on the 1st day, just to go into the warehouse was MASSIVE BUT WELL ORGANISED, STILL, IT LOOKS INTIMIDATING). So sometimes it’s not smart to be kiasu.
