    Been waiting for this. The last one was on 24th and 25th September 2005 at Damansara Utama. 3 years for Sony to decide to do this again.

    I won’t miss this one but only can go there on Saturday. For sure all good stuff gone by then as what happen on 2005.

    Anyone have price list from Sony? Can share?

    Most of Sony item will be there, I guess. On 2005, about 530 item on sale (I still have the price list with me).

    Redeemer, PSP must be there this time, but make sure que since morning tomorrow. First day, half must be gone already. My friend already plan to take MC.

    Alin, from previous one, a lot of audio system and TV on sales. Until the last minutes still got stock. (I can confirm cause I went on the last day and wait the price to drop)

    HepyMoon, I don’t think they do that, maybe no spoilt and repair item but may have some display set. As I can remember, Sony will sell those item that still new (some may outdated and end-of-life, Sony call FROZEN item). Some may have lost carton/box/manual or dented box.

    Suzi, better go yourself and bought, this will sell fast.

    Redeemer, yes of course. I bought flash last time at Rm60 only. normal price is RM500+. Bought camera kit (bag, tape and battery), at Rm60, normal price Rm260. Also Wide/tele lens set for RM30 (maybe).

    A lot I bought… some sell back already.. with some untung la…..

    Why is the pricelist seem expensive to me?
    T33 for 1299??? Nowadays quite easy to source a T700 for just 1500++.

    gosh,not amcorp concourse again?? dis morning i went to the crocs sale..OMG the crowd went wild n things went totally out of control! even the staff were panicking! security all on walkie-talkie n they actually packed all the boxes that they managed to save!! n then just keep it aside..it was quite dangerous,people a ripping out boxes n taking out sizes by themselves!!cant even tell if they’re buying or stealing.

    those looking for psp…there is a shop in s&m shopping complex (3 rd floor, middle shop, nexr to smart choice) that sell at good price…i bought slim pink color psp with 8 gig card and full accessories, 20 games and gps , and holder for rm 1150….may be those looking for psp can go there if x available at sale

    I just come back from the sale. DISASTER! only few units is worth to buy, and those also single and display unit, and is not available there. They have to call to bring it over to the sale area.
    LCD prices for TV (those without full HD) is not worth it. Is even cheaper to buy it from BEST.
    No DSLR (as mentioned in the ad).
    Disappointing sales. Waste of time sadly..

    Got there around 9.50am. Like Lia said, it is a VERY DISSAPPOINTING sale. They should call is SONY CENTRE DEMO & DISPLAY SET CLEARANCE. Even the display or demo unit is not much cheaper than usual promotion sale.

    jhlou, just get your mp3 and Digicams @ Low Yat, or any other place during a promotion sale. Dont waste your precious time / money / petrol going there.

    Thanks Lia and Jasmine on the updates. luckily didn’t go.. coz innitially planning to get a LCD at there, i think better just to go to any of Sen Heng, HSL will get better price and longer warranty period… PSP?? I don’t think shall get from this “Sale” as well, just try to search at Lowyat/Sg.wang. i think the price will just go the same.. just to ensure that the owner won’t ran away..

    But I agree with all the comments above…really not worth it this sale…its just old stock clearance and display set from the dealers and not the distributors….so if u are not one of the early birds…u dun have to go…cos all the good stuff wud have been taken by then…unless u are targetting those RM1k+ HIFI sets or LCD tvs…

    belle w & mimmy: There are no PSP consoles there…no games too….so u dun haf to go…

    tj: U can park in front of amcorp mall at a rate of RM3 for 1st hour and RM1 for subsequent hours.

    dingh: lol..sorry ya…but just telling u the truth lo…at least u dun need to waste time and petrol to go….cos really not worth it….ur fren wanted to buy the speaker? haha..

    but one thing to note for those planning to go….over there, DIFFERENT STORES HAVE DIFFERENT DEALERS..so whichever brochure u took from one store…it only applies to that store…and not other stores around it….so like wat temp2escape told in his/her blog, u might get two different answers cos there are different dealers…i think they have some from Tan Electronics, somemore SS2(Dunno what shop) and one from Berjaya Sony Style.

    But all in all, everything was in a mess..even before 10am, one store was already selling their stuff…and the other stores were still setting up their booths…totally unorganized..phamplets oso they din print enuf…by the time i got there, i managed to get the last one from one store…then after that while i was selecting some product, someone just snatched that pricelist from behind me…din even see the hand…hahaha >.< another store (fromSS2) had only two salespeople and the woman was shouting and walking around…sweating somemore….

    But….but…by the time u all going, all the booths shud have been set up…haha

    Redeemer, thanks for your suggestions. For me go there does means must buy. No stock it’s OK for me. Go for windows shopping also OK for me. Sometime I can go some place 3 days in a row just to see the same item but end-up not buying anything. My wife really understand my habits. Even tomorrow I will go with her.

    I was planning heading to that way anyway tomorrow.

    Went there at 10:30am.

    A700 selling for RM2500.00. Didn’t see any lying around but was told that they were sold out. The counter just opened for business.

    The P&S digital cameras were selling for RM100-200 off the retail price. All were older models. You can get a better deal at your neighbourhood photo shop.

    Some dealers will tell you they are display sets but some will just keep quite.

    Nothing to buy there.
    T300 for RM1,299.

    I suggest you guys look elsewhere for latest digicam. Sony is not stupid to throw away their digicam cheaply. Better buy from somewhere else like Low Yat. Besides this sales is to con people to buy their display and demo set. Mp3 player still can consider like the one that sold out RM99 (original RM499). Other than that, just drop by McD buy an icecream to cool down after wasted RM2 parking.

     Went there yesterday. Nothing bought. This is not a warehouse sales at all… just stock clearing sales.

     Some can be bought cheaper online.

     I going to sent an email to Sony to comments. 2005 one still the best warehouse sales ever. I was done by Sony itself not by Sony seller…

     Anyone can send me some photo about this Warehouse Sales ?

     As a customer what do you actually expecting from a warehouse sales like this ?
     What is the different clearance sales vs warehouse sales ? anyone can tell me ?

     BTW, This sales event was organized by Sony Centre not Sony Malaysia, it has been shown @ the main sales title ma….SONY CENTRE Warehouse Sales !

     The price offered was really below their cost…..their loses is ur gain.

     This suppose to be called SONY CENTRE Clearance Sale.

     Wikipedia told me this:

     A warehouse is a commercial building for storage of goods. Warehouses are used by manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, transport businesses, customs, etc. They are usually large plain buildings in industrial areas of cities and towns.

     Normally warehouse sale will be conducted in the warehouse/factory or in service centre not in shopping complex.

     So do Sony Centre have this…. In this case Sony have the warehouse/svc centre.

     What I really expected? A lot of item for sales, not some item that can be finish in 1 – 2 hours on the first day. That why it called warehouse sales. Stock can be taken anytime from the the warehouse.

     I went to Elba warehouse (at their svc ctr) few months back, even in last 2 hours on the last day, new stock still out for sales, price become cheaper. Some more with warranty. I still can grab 5 item from them. Some people even bought more than 10 item. That what I call a real warehouse sales.

     anybody can help me x..my digital camera jatuh n atas diaterkeluar sikit..need 2 open d screw n masokkan balik..(maybe la) still cann take pic but have 2 press kuat2..I nak hanta sony the charge me rm 600…the camere price is RM 999.I nak tau kat mana i leh repair with cheaper price then sony..

     me too have problem with my digital camera..cannot snap picture already…also from the screen saw a symbol..dunno what…tp my camera is the normal one..not for professional one..already asked the sony center…quite expensive they want to charge…if you willing to help…how to contact u..eny email?
