well… managed to get some cakes!… the queue at 8pm was very good, not that bad as 11am’s queue…
Bravo….for those who manage to get their choice of cake and go home safely and share the cakes with their love own.
I am still mad and upset over the Crocs sales at amcorp mall last week as my farher in law (65 yrs old) was badly injure as he was push and hit by the crowd……
Glad that SR manage to control the crowd even the “Q” is long but ppl are happy with the cake they bought….
I went Almanda at 9.30 smth.. When i reach there I was already pass the Secret Recipe -> Bank -> Apex until slightly after the corridor. Then everything goes smooth since they starting to sell at 10am. Que go slow but smooth.. Though there is some ppl trying to ask to help them buy or let them cut que. But at least not around me that let any of this ppl get what they want since they go without queing.
Til 10.40+ The que is til the Carefour ent.. The guard and carefour ppl start complain i guess that’s why the SR manager ask the end que change direction.. Like from carefour -> SR become Outside -> SR. Of course those asshole take advantage of this. in 1min things become chaos. before that I was like 10++ more to reach the SR ent. TT
After things become chaos. Some ppl pretend angry say want to complain to the manager and ask ppl let them go front. Actually some of them are the late comer.. they go front.. shout shout then cut que =.=
My case is.. Got this blue cloths short hair malay ladies.. Pretend to be a friend of the ladies in front of me. I keep telling her jz now i que for 1hour+ i didn’t see her. Then the most funny part is, the ladies in front turn back and say “I don’t know you” HAHA
But still her face is thick enough to stay even I ask her “You tau malu tak?” and she answer smth like “ya tapi what can i do” and she continue with saying “I tau u tadi kat depan I, I bagi ur kawan pergi depan la, 10 kawan pun okay.” I’m thinking what is this? She’s like so tak tau malu to say this?!?!? And in the end, she even get before my friend.
Finally after we got our cake as well, at bout lunch time 1pm++ when my gang is going to leave Alamanda, we saw that thick face blue cloth short hair malay ladies again. She was behind us and saw us then run away.. Guess she prove that her face will stick become thinner when time necessary.
I wrote this long is become I’m the angry and piss off one.
Also just a suggestion for Secret Recipe,
This is what i get from Baskin Robin when they are having a big crowd since is the 31st of Month and new opening. I think is the similar situation as the grand opening + 31st really create a crowd for Baskin Robin that day. But, there is no que there. Only cards of no is given to the customer and name write down to some sort of register. Then those ppl know their no. is far from the que or not and decided to hang out or wait around.
Advise : Shouting is trouble but before changing of plan. Must think of the consequences. In alamanda manager stands, I felt quite pity of him. cz of carefour and alamanda guard few parties, and get scolded and blame by 100++ ppl. But if he treat it as a experience he will live though any situation ^^
Malaysian is still proven Malaysian till the day they die judging by the way they create chaos whenever there is good deal such as this. Even though Im tempted but I wont force myself to this pack of chaos because you gain nothing in the end. Just something that went through your mouth and down to your stomach before being dumped out again in less than 12 hours.
Then again, some companies never learn. They should have limit the number of cakes each queueing person can buy to avoid some rather ungenerous malaysians from grabbing lots of it. Just give 50% discount and each person can buy one, then surely queue will be a lot shorter.

then they said limit to 1 per person, but at alamanda ppl can buy more than 1 cake. Later on only say can’t.
i read her say until 6pm, but yesterday up till 8pm++ still on.
Althought it might benefit most people, but in actual fact they’re earning lotsa money over this. Has anyone forgotten about the Milk Scare? cakes are made of milk too. Cream, cheese, milk, etc! n yesterday lotsa ppl buying to chuck down milk stuff when earlier on was boycotting milk products.

yeah i understand the frustrations u r going through with some “malaysians”.
When I was at Loreal Warehouse sale, 2 girls on a hp talking talking n suddenly cut Q right infront of my friend. They pretended to be friends with the ladies infront of them and still talk on phone as if they’re very busy but a part of the line/friend. The shoppers behind me were complaining how we let this happen? like bodoh bagi orang cut. SO I GOT ANGRY n confronted the 2 girls who cut my Q. WOW..imagine their ATTITUTDE..! it seems they’re KINGS of the place? “ALA sama je line semua ni” was their only defence when I said hi sorry pls don’t cut Q. They refused to budge until I scolded her, Kalau semua Q ni sama, pergi belakang Q saja la??? they left with black face n gossiping about me.
Later on, I realize they have CUT 20 people ahead of us and the people there actually allowed them to do so. I was so mad at the shoppers behind who badmouth me while they themselves didn’t want to confront the Q Cutters. Dahlah the front ppl also keep quiet n let them stand behind them like friends.
BTW they gossip right infront of my face when our Q’s interwined with each other. I just took out my camera n snap her picture infront of her face. She kept quiet n show black face.
To solve Q cutters, everyone must work hand in hand. It’s a vicious cirlce, if u dun care, i dun care, then Q cutters are becoming braver by the day.

Really don’t understand why you Malaysian dare not to voice up your dissastifaction on the spot to the relevant parties but to complain here. Do you think that this will help ? or trying to treat this as somewhere to release your tension instead ???? FUNNY!!!!
Obama, this website is for us to share our experiences and comments so that we could learn from each other’s lessons. as a matter of fact, MIU did sound the Q cutters but it just didnt work. As we are civilised human being, do u expect to us to be shouting here and there to the mentioned relevant party? after the shouting and so on do u think they would listen and stop doing it? i can’t really get over with the secret recipe exp. last tuesday (ss2). 4 hours queuing (11am – 3pm). the fun part is that i went there with my friends, if not, i don’t think i can stand there for that long! the moment that i saw the cashier’s face, the agony was unbearable, but it didn’t stop there. the cake that i want finish. so have to select another one on the spot, so i select choc fudge and moist choc. while waiting for the cake, there was one makchik ahead of me start chatting with me. she told me that she have been to the shah alam sr earlier to get the cake (she got it), then her anak buah asked her to buy some more, so she came to ss2 and been queuing up since 2pm. Oh, my GOD, she’s a Q cutter and she even complained to the sr staff why her cake is not there yet?! i hope i won’t see her again next time. when i got back, then i realized that my choc fudge cake is not there. i got to eat 2 moist choc cake! after all the queuing up for 4 hours. hu..hu…hu…

i reached there about 10.45 and manage to get my cake at 1 oclock!!
a lil bit dissapointed coz i still cant get my indulgence and choc banana~
tsk3.. only got white choc, choc fudgel.. (but still, very3 yummy!!)
it was such a long q.. and wut i managed to know is dat, i was the 314th peop in q! i wonder how many cakes went away dat day~ aiyan..
next year hav to get mc on the 12th dec earlier so dat i can eat my cake! huhuh

read some comment above about queue cutters… had an experience like that during the fj benjamin sales at bangsar village. 2 malay guys dengan selambanya came n stood outside the line & it was very obvious they were trying to cut. i was at the head of the queue… 7th in line, n they were trying to cut in… the group of 4 in front of me tried to block them but they still stood there like wood…
so i waited until the queue at the back is very very long, then i called to them n said loudly but politely to them “bang, queue start from that other end… bukan sini” & gave them my sweetest smile.
i must say they had the decency to look sheepish & move off. at least didn’t try to be funny. the 4 people in front of me even thanked me for chasing them off n said they wanted to tell them off but too scared… 3 malay gals & 1 malay guy… scared??? sheesh…
u see this kind of idiots everywhere… simply cut queue… make donno when people tegur… but it was my first time meeting people who actually took the advice & hauled their asses elsewhere

else those 2 abangs also will masuk queue cutter’s hall of shame … muahahhahhahaa…
if u wanna cut queue… do it behind me. NOT in front of me. that’s my principle. & if everyone else follow this principle as well, queue cutters will join the queue where they belong… right at the end of the queue.
Finally seen someone here, at least they dare to confront those rude people (probably in their special ways). Or else, you can bring this in to the attention of the management of the organiser. If they can’t solve the problems on behalf, then all should boycott them. In my country, normally organiser will arrange security personnel to make sure everyone is well behave…….. To add on for clarification, I never ask people to shouting to the crowd. If this continue to happen, how to improve your society ??? Just blame at the back ??? Then will be too bad …..
there’s one time my fren tried to cut my queue also… a whole pile of stuff n dare to ask if can tumpang my place in the queue to help him to pay.
i just told him to queue up himself. could see the person behind me also showing black face already… in case i allow him to cut. hehehe.
i dont even entertain frens who ask me nicely if they can cut my queue, so what makes u think i will be so nice to ppl i don’t know?
I tot malaysians only rude and cut queue on driving but too ashame to those peoples cut queue in front and face to face like this.
