I think I will give them a visit BUT I dont think there will be anything CHEAP till you drop your jaws lor. This is SIS le, not some idiot china men run companies dumping stock like crazy. If my guess is correct, must be selling off their old desktop/laptop due to upgrading and demo set mp3 players and such. Still I will go and see for myself. If got good stuff also their staffs surely grab and sell off themselves as they know the price better than us.

Most of the time these warehouse sales are load of bullshit..
They clear old stock or non sellables to cash in
All the good stuff is preselected or taken up by staff and their family members
I went to the toshiba sales early and they told me thumb drives all sold out
Imagine that I drove from cheras to U1 glenmarie and they got the cheek to ask me to come back the next day.

Yes Lee you are absolutely right. I was there for their previous so called warehouse sales. What a total waste of my time. The place was packed like a sardine can in a hot sunny morning. A lot of people do walk around and queue up to enter as they only allowed certain amount of people to go in at one time.
Not much good stuff with very low price. As they mentioned, only specified items will be very low. And you know what that means. Demo units or old models which even your son don’t know how to operate it. But there is some handphone which they are selling that are cheap but than again I can easily get a better deal outside from my dealer/shop.
If you haven’t been there, you can always drop by and have a peek. But if you’re from afar. Better think twice. Price of petrol might go down but still a waste of time and energy.

I wouldnt go as far as saying warehouse sale are crap, but rather who was organising it and what were being offered. Most if not ALL of IT related warehouse sales are crap. Most are selling their used desktop/laptop, demo set of mp3 players, camera, etc and some old stocks.
However, most of the old stocks are grabbed before they are up for sales. Their staff already go through the whole list and left the unwanted for us.
SNS does what it does and that is to inform us of the upcoming warehouse sales. But we are here because we want to inform people of what to expect because many SNS aint too tech savvy. We want to help SNS’ers because there is no point buying something thats 1-2years old with 50% off the retail price when the product first debut years ago. We are here to prevent these blood sucking companies from sucking people pocket dry with their warehouse sales gimmick.
would it be silly to expect getting a great deal for touch pro?

hey guys…wats d point arguing.. if u think its worthless to go then dont go.. if u think its worth it then go.. everthng has their pros n cons.. plus if d things there are craps, people wont go 2 warehse sale.. wat do u expect things with so much discounts would be like? or if u think its not cheap enuf then buy sumwhere else.. n if u think they’re sucking peoples money, dont go. as simple as dat.

well nadya.. i think its better they give their opinion about it cuz after reading it,people will consider whether wanna go or not..exp to people who have to drive all da way from cheras or keramat to glenmarie..some more hv to q & everythin..
hmm.. any idea n advice are welcome. We decide whether want to go ot not. Thank you for giving information that we actually didn’t aspect. We have brain to evaluate them by our-self. Do not get mad to people when they give their advices. Some advices are expensive to gain. Very appriciate any info and knowledge given here freely.

Nothing much really. I didnt see the phones as I already suspect not much of discount. Wanted to get photo frame but none for sale. In the end, bought 1 of the 2 available unit of DIR655 for just RM255.
Another thing…
I have to say BEING AN IT DISTRIBUTOR, SIS DEFINATELY SUCKS WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR PAYMENT COUNTERS. Slow like hell… and staff double checking price again and again. Got one fella buy pendrive also price check 2~3 times. STUPID SALES AGAIN… VERY UNORGANISED.

got many stock or not?
Not much crowd this morning.
Im not sure whether they will restock tomorrow or what, but there seem to be plenty of stock of everything. Just got a couple models that are running out of stock like the wireless router that I just bought.
Things that were selling there:-
Dlink products – the thing that allows you plug in 2 hdd in an external case which has a LAN connection is quite cheap I think… RM3xx excluding the hdd.
Canon products – din see the pricelist, got camera and printer (laset and inkjet)
Laptops – Didnt see whats the brands they were selling, but did spot a couple of NEC, Acer etc. Also available is some cheapo 14″ sleeve for RM30
HTC – This one I totally give it a skip. Not much people asking so I assume price isnt that fantastic either. Hope some can update.
Ipod accesories
Western Digital – Selling some external hdd… did see the pricelist, not sure cheap or not. But did see an external HDD 320GB original price RM3xx discount until RM199. I think its cheaper than Lowyat as I was originally trying to get an external one but price were hovering around RM2xx in Low Yat.
What else har… hmm… some laptops bags, cheap mouse, pendrive… cant remember as was quite disappointed.
juz got back from ther and i guess not worth to go..wasted my fuel only and in the end bougt a 8gb pendrive for rm 55 juz to cover back my fuel..lol
mostly price is cheaper btw 100 – 200 for laptop.
and its very HOT.

Some item is not easy to get even in PC Fair. The router I bought is very limited stock and hard to find. Not to mention RM255 for a new one vs RM400 original price. Even PC Fair also dun offer like this. Usually they use pc fair to clear low end model and obsolete stock.
BTW I didnt even cut the ads for RM30 off.
HTC all @ BIG rm100 discount !!! why mother truckingly called a warehouse sales; wasted my time…

i think only the rm25+ left..this is 2nd cheaper hd than others left..

truly said..it is not like what i’ve expected..nothing much left just mouse VOI,laptop skins,ink catridge,phones,printer,projector,adapters,routers and some stuff that i’m not interested with huhu
Been there for straight 2 years and basically is the same stuffs. However, this year I managed to get the Dlink IP Camera (Model: DCS-5220) at RM480 while they told me the retail is at RM 1010. Hope the retail is at what they said.
