hi! i do not have a hsbc credit card, but i was wondering if i could just bring my mom’s credit card and the flyer just to get an entry on friday would that be possible? do i have to register any numbers or any for of identification?

those who went for the sales the last time n is a hsbc card member pls do let me know how it works.

gr…, cheryl and Yee Yee, we can go in using either the mailer or showing them the HSBC credir card. they are not going to register any numbers. I did remember in the last 2 years sales, i went in using my HSBC master card, and i borrowed my HSBC visa card to a couple. 4 of us can went in successfully.

of course u can pay by cash on 28, just without enjoying the additional 10% discount.

Last round I tumpang a lady HSBC cardholder who was kind enough to let me go in with her (heh heh – I asked nicely, okay). I’m not a HSBC card holder, but I got the notice in the post – better be safe than sorry and bring both card and mailer just in case.

I’m sure there are fitting rooms there, just that there won’t be that many and there will be lines. So knowing your size for a particular brand beforehand is useful – just find stuff in your size, decide if you want to get it, pay and leave.

I don’t think La Senza cardholders can use their card to go in.

Hi ladies, I’ve been to the same one last year at the same venue. You may go in with HSBC cards or mailer. However, not to be too worried about it, it’ll be too crowded for them to check.

It’ll be very very pack and crowded, so be prepared. Advise : Not to bring handbags along, only bring cash & card and place them safely in your pocket.

There is fitting rooms available – but you may only try on dresses and pants. You are not allowed to try on blouses.

Not too sure how good are the bargain, but when I was there, I saw some ladies bought up to 10-20 Guess handbags.

I managed to grab beautiful Raoul working tops for myself and my hubby, also some Guess & Gap top.

I supposed La Senza has good bargain too, but it was just too crowded for me to squeeze in.

my experience is

u can enter when u have either 1

1. Invitation card @ HSBC card(can use father,mother ur freind card..as long as from HSBC..just show up ur HSBC Credit Card)(Can’t use other card La Senza, Raoul..etc..)
2. Can bring along 2 person with U
3. They have fitting room over there(but u have to que..its quite long..hehehe)

Until now only I noticed the 2-4 May 2008 one at Bangsar Village II was different from this & also Dec ’07 one. These two are called WAREHOUSE CLEARANCE but the May’08 one is not. No wonder that one was not attractive to me….

Ko: The warehouse sales should be the same, as FJ Benjamin will have their warehouse clearance twice in a year, usually are may/june and nov/dec.

Last sales was at bangsar village, they had a very good system for the Q (i went in on the 1st day), hope that this time also the same. The 1 before the last sales was at park royal also, they were unable to control the Q, so everybody was pushing here and there.

Omg I went to last years one at Bangsar Village 2.
Pengsan I tell you the Q so long just to wait for them to open up!
I was early with my friend so thought go makan dulu.
When I came up like 200 orang in front of me waiting for them to open.

By the time I went in, Guess bags semua habis kena sapu.
But Guess got good deals with shoes.
I can’t rmbr exactly but it was like RM180 for 2 pairs or something like that.
Too bad I can’t fit cause too big on me ):

LaSenza buy 10 thongs / underwear/ panties for RM40.
But super crowded I tell you.

Overall worth it to go
Ni problem sebab kat KL kali ni.

ryck: your VIP card is for 28 or 27 nov?? this time i got no VIP card, but i got it from my friend for the last sales on may. the VIP preview was one day before the HSBC card holder. all VIPs need to Q to enter to sales.

not sure how the VIPs’ card work this time.

i went to the one in Bangsar VillageII previously. Only had to show HSBC credit card, they didn’t seem bothered bout the flyer.
lots of people though but was civilised enough on the first day, queue was manageable and moving – held up because of all u ladies with the big bags- remember bring yr small purse only-lah and everyone will be happy, happy!
did not find much decent Men’s clothes but mens shoes were worth it ie Raoul Made in Italy for RM 200! -oops now I’ve said too much. See all u crazy people there!

For 28.11.08 admission, you can either show mailer or HSBC credit card. 27.11.08 is only meant for FJ Benjamin staff/their family or friends/ business associates. Since everyday they will have replenishment of stock, just go when you feel free lor….

I went for the previous one in Bangsar Village in the evening in May (1st day)and it didn’t have to queue up to go into the main event hall but there was a long queue at the La Senza section. Lingerie/sleepwear was dirt cheap, RM70 for 2, NP RM139 and above each.

Plenty of Raoul ladies’ shoes and bags, price, I can’t remember lah. Guess bags from RM50. Overall, worth your while to go.

I think going in the evening might be safer cos the mob scene crowd will have dispersed by then and stocks are still aplenty then.

Just a reminder …. no big hand bags allowed the other time. They sort of wrapped up the big hbags with plastics. Just the purse and cash$$$$ and the plastic card will do …hee…ee

went for both last november’s sale at parkroyal & the one at bangsar village sometime in the middle of this year…

november @ parkroyal: went on the first day (friday) during lunch. the crowd (i won’t even call it a queue) was a few feet thick… from the entrance at parkroyal until the door where the sale is actually being held… a few feet deep in full of people. got so scared, decided to cabut… came back early the next day & managed to be among the first few to get in. there was quite alot of good stuff… i remember buying 3 wallets, 1 handbag, 1 pair shoes from guess, & some tops from gap.

mid this year @ bangsar village: went on saturday… lucky i was early… like 2 hours early … 7th in queue. not much stuff this time round… or maybe the stuff they had this time wasn’t to my liking so i only bought a gap skirt & a guess tote.

think i’ll skip this one…

i remembered when i went to the last dec sales, my friend wanna buy a pair of guess shoe, if not mistaken, 1 pair=rm90, if buy 2 pairs=rm150…
when we Q to pay that time, we saw 1 woman also taking a pair of guess shoe, so my friend ask her to pay 2gther, and i use my HSBC cc to pay for them, ends up only cost them rm67.5 per pair…very cheap huh….

Yes, what Jess said was right. As the stuff there are not cheap, in total might be quite a lot also, eg. spend RM1k can save up to RM100. However, none of us, including my fren & friend got HSBC cc. SAD….bcos normally I spend quite a lot.

aina: Yes 1st day and 3rd day did make a difference…as i remember, last year, i wanted to get some bags and lingerie, but on the 1st day i had only less than 30mins so i oni managed to window shop and go around the hall. I saw GAP bags at 100-120(or issit RM80-120? if i remember clearly) then guess wallet at 60RM(monogram) and some nighties at RM60-80 per piece.

So i went again on the last day (early la) wanted to try my luck hoping to get some stuff i saw… and the gap bags were going for RM40 per each, and the nighties were starting from RM30 and above. I got 2 La Senza corsets at RM30 per piece. and the ever famous promotion of La Senza undies RM40 for 10 pieces. Guess velvet skirt at RM70(i think). I also saw people pushing hard to get some guess wallets, as they reduced the price to RM50 for 2 wallets.

aina: if not mistaken, they will reduce the price on the last day. (i went to the 2007 sales on the last day, la senza did reduced their price, other brands im not sure)…following sales i went in on the 1st day, as there will be more choices.

FJ Benjamin will have their warehouse sales twice in a year, just use the cc for the warehouse sales also good mer…hehehe…no annual fee summore…at least u wont headache for the entrance on the 1st day and u can save more $$ (as u said u normally spent a lot). just a suggestion to u…happy buying…

You are right too. Last day will have further price cut, but really “balance stocks”. —based on my past experience.
Another is, your suggestion I’ve already in mind for the past 2 yrs. Everytime when their warehse sale come, I will say must apply, then later totally forgotten….repeatedly the same. Maybe everytime I just shown the expired cc to them for preview admission makes me no sense of urgency although no disc.
One thing also bcos HSBC is not convenient for me to make pymt & I also lazy to hold too many cc at one time as HSBC reward pt are very high compared to others for redemption. Anyway, Thx for your suggestion.

Unable to attend the FJ Benjamin warehouse sale.Anyway, able to grab 2 handbag from metrojaya member sale last night. Got them with 40% discount. SA told me this time they bring out all quite new stuff for this metrojaya sale. Mostly are just a few month ago’s pattern. Not like the sale before all very outdated one. Hope u guys enjoy your shopping in the warehouse sale ya!!

i wen to sooo many fj benjamin sales..not so bad. its just for la senza lover (like me!) don expect too much from tis kind of sale..they sale lots of thongs, cotton bras and normal lingeries,, small sizes..i can say old stocks! better buy at their outlet..but i reserve my comments for tis sale..since tis is year end sale..just wish they have all the nicest bras! i don tink i’ll go for tis sale..anyway i have hsbc flyer to give away if any1 wans..just post ur wish @ sns ya..happy browsing, digging n shopping trow!

See: u can stop at bukit bintang monorial station. u have to cross the road and turn right. park royal is at your left side. (actually u can see it from the monorial).

Dt: u can park at Lot 10, 2moro is isetan member day, if u also planning to buy things there, 2 hours free for purchases above rm100. or else u can park beside sungai wang, there is an open car park there.

a lot of varity and size for la senza bra 3 for 99 only..
panties and g string 10 for rm45…mostly g string..panties just so little..
guess shoes are nice..guess handbag dont have much variety but quite a number of quantity…
watches are nice and cheap..
guess jeans are superb…i over heard that the staff said that all the ladies jeans had put out on the basket..nice and not outdated jeans..1 pair for 170rm..
gap bag are nice too..not sure the price cause dont have price tag..
so happy shopping today althought so so crowded..
visit metrojaya too gal..guess bag 40 percent off..nicer than bag from this warehouse..my own opinion only ya..hehe

reached there bout 11am this morning, waited for 1/2 hr to get in, the crowd was there but stil not too packed. Lots of great items gone.. Guess handbags not nice, din see much Gap handbags, Raoul handbags are nice but ranging 220-400.
next time better go with VIP invitation, better choice, din even get my wallets but got a pair of banana republic shoes… Guess shoes not nice

when i went in there was no one lining up, probably about 4:30pm
the person didn’t check the hsbc card and I just went in
anyways the la senza there was many many stocks, many sizes available, 3 for RM99
the panties are mostly g-strings, and i never liked them so didnt buy. btw it’s 10 for RM45
luxury sets 2 for RM50 i think, cotton sets 2 for RM 70…
then there’s a basket of lacy bras with no sponge or cloth for the cup at RM10 each
erm erm… summo leh…
the guess bags above RM100 is u wanna get nice ones
guess shoes are nice 2 for RM150 but very little size 5-6 when I went there, mostly nice ones are sizes 7 and above
guess jeans RM170, hopefully price will drop during the last day, hoping to go again!! didn’t buy that cos not enuf cash…
others never really looked cos price aren’t that cheap and not in my budget
gap, guess tops mostly priced at RM60 but very little RM30
and i saw the ori price for one of the guess top is RM109 but only 40% slash (to me it’s little la… haha) become RM60

La Senza stuff’s are damn nice..!!!!!!!! end up spending twice the amount i budgeted…but still damn satisfied..!! went back calculated the total ACTUAL price..and it came down to i only had to pay 17% of the actual cost of everything!!!..crazy lahhh

hehe..went to Q at 8am..entered at 10am (got stupid people came late and potong Q..and pushing2 to enter..grrr…) went straight to La Senza (had to focus on the items i really wanted..hehehe) ..so luckily i did..by the time i finished at La Senza..the crowd to get in the La Senza section was……undescribable…ramaii!!!!!…
but the stuff was not so much left already…

a mother – i donno la dear, i still think it’s not an appropriate event to bring kids. i kesian tengok muka budak² tu macam so scared and clueless of what’s going on around them. with that kind environment they’ll get restless and cranky real quickly. try to think about them and their feelings too. and i’m just concerned that something bad might happen to the kids, being stepped on, pushed etc. the doorman told us on the previous day sale (the VVIP one i supposed) there was a case of a child missing. and i know the challenges of having kids. find a way to ensure you child’s ‘safety first’.

synical – you’re right. previous sale handbags were cheaper (and had more selections too). maybe they marked up the price a bit that last time so that during the last day knock down later the price would still be higher hehe clever eih!

by the way, few of my friends who are HSBC cc holders did not receive their invitation flyers. They only knew about this sale when I informed them and asked whether they had received the flyer. they received info about this sale via SMS yesterday around 11ish – we were already AT the sale at that time already!

p.s. perhaps in the future besides ‘no drinks & food allowed’ the flyer should also state ‘no kids below …. (age) allowed’ heehee =)

I bought 1 nike timing irama kylo watch for just RM88, so cheap and nice. 2 pieces of Raoul shirts at RM150 and Gap shirt also RM70 per piece. Was really a nice bargain.

I’m mother of three, I personally feel that because I love my kids very much & never bring them to this type of clowded place. There should’t be any excuse for the parent even they really need or like the particular stuff, UNLESS they are someone who are willing to take care of thier kids. This actually is for the benefit of the kids to avoid getting injure/ breath difficulty due to lack of oxigen/ lost of kids, etc. Therefore, no matter how cheap is the sale as told by others, I will not go there UNLESS my mum-in-law agreed to look after them at home. I rather give up the sales for the fake of my kids.

I went there this morning & it was very crowded. Got some stuff from La Senza but the rest were a lil hard to browse though. Overall, La Senza was a good buy, so did the Raoul shirts and the Banana Republic’s dress and jacket. I’d updated my blog for some pictures inside the ballroom as well as the stuff that I bought. Anyway I think I’ll go back there again tomorrow

My friends & I queued from 9 am, but before we knew it it was time to go in.

First thing was- run towars the shoes & bags- my friend got this GORGEOUS black Guess bag for RM100.

I was lucky to get a pair of BR shoes- but it costed abt Rm200 la.

Oh and pretty party-like Guess tops that were down to RM60!

Went there again today. Wasn’t crowded during afternoon. The price for La Senza is really good. If you choose those bra that cost RM129 per piece originally, the discount is really very good. For those who haven’t been there yet, I would recommend you to pay a visit if you have time. But don’t think you can grab normal panties, just left with g-string. Happy shopping

yah, i am a mother of 2 and i never bring my kids to this kind of warehouse sales for their own good… therefore, it’s not encouraging to bring kids there to avoid any unwanted accident happen. and for those pregnant mothers, pls be extra careful whn going to this warehouse sales but I would recommend u all to avoid going to this event even u want it every much. I had been pregnant bef, but i wont bring my ‘big tummy’ to the crowded areas.. and for those fathers, pls advise your beloved pregnant wives to stay away from this place and maybe u can help them to get their staff… just my own opinion… no offence

Today I went back to the warehouse sales again and all items were on additional 20% off. I bought the Banana Republic’s trench coat at RM160 today instead RM200 yesterday (ori price was RM819). Guess it was fated to be mine. I’d also updated my blog on the pictures today inside the ballroom and the trench coat that I bought. Cant wait for the next FJ Benjamin Warehouse Sales again.

but my opinion…watches are really worth buying as for today. Since, it really make a big difference with 20% off. for example..my bro guess watch rm250 then it became rm200 only.

I got there about 1030… no Q at all.. just simply walked in, tho there was still somewhat of a crowd inside, but not as bad as when the minutes ticked away Pretty pleased there was an additional 20% off all items. Managed to get Gs, a couple of guess shirts and a gap sweater which i’m pretty happy with (a lot more choices than last year’s sale). After an hour and half, ciao’d off.. getting too crowded and i couldn’t be bothered trying on pants and skirts – Q for changing room was LONG! But still happy with my buys!

hey gurls.went to the fj benjamin.kinda dissapointed with the lasenze stuffs.still the old stuff.im still wearing most of the bras they sold there .but really happy that i manage to bought top from raoul.a very nice one.by da way i have some stuff to let go

It is really worth it, I have been there for 2 days, first day felt not enough, so decided to go there again in the next. I bought more than 20 clothes and jeans, cost me less than RM 1k, some more all branded. The ballroom was not really crowded, only the temporary fitting rooms have to wait quite some time. Anyway, its worth it. Megasales in Malaysia now not really sales, only this kind of warehouse clearance can call sales!!!!
