i dont like topshop…the quality is so bad..just because they are from the Brits, everything seems so overpriced..especially the t-shirts…
i dont like Topshop..just because they are from the Brits who are still using that crappy Pounds, everything seem so overpriced…but the quality is very bad..just look at their t-shirts
A good place to get some prezzie for my dear~
I went to Dorothy Perkins today. I saw some 50%, 70% sign have been setup. And some dress already marked discount. I was so excited & choose 3 pcs of dress n asking one of their malay lady sales assistant about the discount. I was asking er when is actually the sale start, and can i get this 3 dress on discount. Guess wat she replied me. She reply me so rude that she dono when the sale start. Wat the Fxxk with this stupid attitute. whole shop is put on sale sign and she told me dono whe will start. If today is just for member sale, she can tell me about that. I really angry about that, ad throw back that dress i wan to buy. I m going to make complain to their manager about this tomoro. stupid lady!!!
bad service, bad attitute…lack of knowledge. Hope their management treat this serious…hello, she only sale promoter, i m customer…who paying money for their salary. really idiot. Anyone have such a experience like me? sad case
but ppl will still crawl to that place when sales …. hehe
say no to racism…
ahahahhaa…
ya na renomael…
ppl still go there…
a lil bit of problems…
normal human can tolerate with it…
come on…
we are human…
maybe dat sales girl just work there…
who noes rite…
hihi…
agree with shopper. nowadays hardly to get good service while shopping around, unless those high end retail goods. I was wondering how the managers train their staffs regarding customer service as they are giving the services in order to bring sales in… no matter sales commission will be given or not, still, they should do their best as a promoter.
another thing is .. Topshop is no longer famous in UK. In fact, H & M, ZARA are more popular for middle range income consumer. Anyway, most of the people there rather go for high end retail shops like gucci, d & g, LV as the price considers reasonable for them. Because of the currency rate, we earned the similar wage but we spend almost half of our income, not worth that right… so, be a smart consumer, brand names doesn’t certify your status, but quality is also important. I bought things for its quality, design, not brand names indeed.
yup2 totally agrees! sumtimes salesgirl r too rude until we dont feel like buying anymore.. cant give face to them.. maybe coz she’s tired but still..dats her job.. be nice to customer is d most important thing..
yes, agreed with shopper.
I even treated as transparent when i walk into branded shop, come on la, you r only sales girl or sales boy, u r working, we r spending so that u got your salary, say plz to those sales girl o boy, treat customer better…don think u r high class when working in branded shop…customers are more higher because when we got time to shop, u dont, u need to work…:p
I like the Garden Isetan’s sales people there…those customer service counters, sales person are so so nice in treating u whether u buy or not, or whether u buy low price things….their customer service skills are excellent..good attitude to learn from..thumbs up for them
Hihi: me nt in racism issue, is about hw their serve customer that way. Me in service line also, i knw what to do. this end up I dont buy their stuff, who rugi? If u were me, for sure u will ask the same Q. ” if tak tau, then wat the heck you work here”?? agree everybody? consumer right!!!
Just work there or nt is nt a big issue, answer customer Q polite is the first, fikir la!
nadya, marcus, pampered, i totally agree wit u al, thanks for it. i think the so call ” hihi” dint get what i mean. he maybe the sale person fren….hahhahaa…somemore bring out the human issue. emmm..they still nt going for topshop level yet…so…may nt understand guaaa
I agree with u shopper, i dont like paying money and get those service. i were do that if i were you also
no wonder such “PPL” only qualify become sale promoter….hehehhe…
yin, isetan sale promoter is good….i like Tangs sale person..they r so helpful..their dress also nice and unique. GOOD job
oh yes, Yin; said it right about the sales assistant in Garden’s Isetan. I experienced that b4. They are friendly and helpful, never judge one person by its appearance & apparel. Of course I did not know whether all of them behave the same but I felt good while shopping over there.
Robinson however, I fed up. I supposed to buy a cutie cardholder, but there was a boy promoter, not even look at me; I then walked towards him to request whether has its stock for that item, due to there was a defeat of the display item, and he told me, “sorry, don’t have”… He not even went to check it out or not, OH MY GOSH…
Hello, forgive me if what i said the following are harsh to SOMEBODY, “I can even pay your 5 months’ of salary from my one month salary, so who do you think you are?” I was wondering he thought I can’t afford it? Do I must dress in PRADA’s apparel with LV’s handbag and GUCCI’s heel then only he will treat me nicely?
I can say, Malaysia’s retail customer service is the worst from what i experienced so far, compared to “developing & developed” countries.
Still, I am thankful to those sales assistants/promoters who are doing great job by giving excellent customer service, earnest on their own job and their performance is highly appreciated.
wow!!.. so hot here.. n yupp, i agree wif d topics.. most of d sales person whether boy or gal that works at designer boutiques alwiz treat us as ‘transparent’.. such a jerk!!.. who do u tink ur??.. we pay u ok!!.. u salary comes from our money!!.. ju becoz we r nt wearing those designers apparels or handbags or what, it doesn’t mean we dn’t hv d money to buy those things!!..
but, i do like tangs, isetan.. they r great in their jobs..
well, i used to work there prt time drng my clge break .
&& we were not to tell the cstmers of whn the sale strts.
&& i hv to agree tht most salesprson cn b quite a snob.
but the trick in kwing the sale at tpshop is that
they usually put the banners up the night before the sale
&& if you see stamps of topshop on the price tag
then the item with stamps will be the ones with discounts =))
anyone know when they r goin to bring h&m here?
true la…BELLA..i regular on their stuff..that y i knw…i just only ask her can i purchase now with discount price…she answer me ” tak tau” that make me fedup..that nt the correct way to answer customer rite….?
malaysian ppl all good in complains…hahahahhaha…make better
H & M will not be brought in in short period. Perhaps two more years later. As it just entered china market last year and this year for japan. A developing country like us, our country not even in their plan yet.
I love this sale.
Well i went to KLCC today , i saw Topman:Topshop , a lot of stuffs that are on 50% and 70%
but sadly i didn’t went it and check the price buy maybe later im going there again . shopping for
my birthday present , heeee
Well i hope you guys can tell me the price okay , thanks
Alamak, the dress i bought last week, it’s on 50% discount today. Damn. I lost a hundred bucks just like that. I prefer Miss Selfridges than Topshop. Yeah Yeah.
Wow, having debate over here. pampered sounds expert wor.
yes, i strictly agree wat Shopper said…we ask in Eng, but they answer in Malay, FXXK…wat the hell is tat…? Never study Eng ke? Unless u go for above average shop, it wont happen such issue…
CliniQueGal > Shouldn’t say so on one person’s education, although i agreed with shopper. Not all the Malays are as what you met, and also not all the Chinese are as best as you think. There are some chinese promoter are not friendly and giving bad customer service as well. For me, all the races is the same, what we emphasize over here is one’s attitude… We should respect others’ mother language. That’s manner.
not my preference lo…. from yesterday’s visit…
even got discount but not my style of clothes..
others might have a try…
Yeap…went to Midvalley. Nothing much. Discounts on plain sleeveless and a line of unattractive (auntie) clothes.
And who are they kidding to sell winter scarves and leg warmers? Brit clothes! Pfft!
pampered : agreed
Bad customer service, been there. It’s the attitude and bad customer service that we do not want to meet. Other than that, it’s better not to judge. It’s called down-grading one’s education level and race. It’s better not to judge a person based on their job. I once work as a promoter, and i’ve met few customers judging me based on my job, and my education level. There is a difference between consumer rights and respect. Consumer rights are applicable on the products that you purchace. It doesn’t mean you have the rights to down grade the promoter honey. Although gotta agree, most promoters doesn’t have soft skills but more to selling skills. This is the typical malaysian mentality, you are respected based on your status. That’s a shame.
pampered : agreed. respect other mother’s language. If you respect, then you are respected
Sales until when ?
Thanks glitter. Thank you for your comments.
can i know the normal price for y neck t-shirt??
i mean topman..
OMG…
1st..i think if u expect to be treated like a thousand buck, go to designer boutiques. They’re paid to handle customer professionally..
2nd.. its unfair to expect a 5star svc when ure paying barely 200 bux on average/visit..logically, the staff dont earn that much to be accommodating kiasu customers. seriously not worth the hassle..and normally, the kiasu customers are normally those who dont hav much to offer, they just hav to abuse ‘customers right’ because they dont hav power elsewhere.
3rd.. Treat salesperson, waiters, cleaners, boss, jaga..all..with respect.. we’re all humans alike. outside of the store, u never knew if they’re actually royalties who’s independent and wants a taste of hard earned money. (i knew many)
LASTLY… just be proud of them that they chose to serve u for money rather than SNATCH YOUR HANDBAGS..
geez, some ppl just cant appreciate the smaller things in life. wait till u kena, then u knw wht ur big mouth’s worth
oh n another thing..
my sistr-in-law is doing part time at one of these retailers..she’s actually finishing awaiting convo for her masters.
..and some up there shouts abt the money they’ve got n thus they xpect 2 b given good svc?
knock! knock! ure bargain hunting lah…hellloooooo!! got money, why wld it matter if theres no discount? this is not yet high-end $ range..aduhh…
(damn..kelakarlah….)
