i wonder what is da rm10 item..hurmmm…
Previously, I bought my olympus camera fr Fotokem… (during that time they promoted @ Midvalley) they sell with market price (normally cheaper that others camera shop) but I get some extra items such as 4gb memory card (normal 1-2 gb), got extra 1 battery, tripod, hard cover/casing, free voucher to print foto, screen protector, and some small2 items i cannot recall… really worth.
I also bought olympus camera also last time, got a few free thing. But after a few week new model came out, some with lower price.

Got a Olympus waterproof camera (http://www.fotokem.com.my/fotokem/v1/fotokem_main.asp?processid=Prod_Detail&prodId=233) at the price of 900+ (i cant remember exactly the price but it’s less than 1k-it’s a brand new unit not display set)
I love my camera to bits! it’s a really good bargain cos the market price of the camera is about RM1399-RM1499 at other shops.
they gave me extra battery, hard cover/casing,neckstrap,screen protector, silicone casing, traveling torchlight for free..
Many ppl thinks the neckstrap is not useful cos u wud probably think who wud hang the camera around the neck right?
But I really love the strap I using it whn i went snorkeling at sipadan (it can be turn into the wrist strap too–the length is adjustable cos in the water u might worry tat the camera will slip away)
Though it’s oni 7.1MP but the underwater pics turn out great! Very clear, the macro mode really nice
I even took some videos of turtles swimming in front of me 
I wud recommend for those of u who are planning to get a good digital camera

Hye every1!actually i went 2 FOTOKEM sunway yesterday after work and guess what??I get myself casio exilim ex-z80 for rm599 set of casing,cable,charger and stuff (using lithium bat) plus screen protecter,strap(long&short),and lots of vouchers!very satisfied ^_^!!
i think its worth going,but they mentioned that they will sell everythng so if u come late im afraid u might nt get themodel u want..and..not every model is avail..certain model only and no SLR,DSLR camera is on sale..
o ya video cam is cheap2 also..the one brand sony actual price rm1999 sale at rm1300!! and sony camera hmm actual price rm999 ala the one which is colorful one..with touch screen worth only rm599!!so don’t thnkmove ur ass to fotokem in sunway now!!!

can stand water up to 10m depth, which is useful if ur a beach bum and like to snorkel.
the 1050 can stand 3m depth. it is as good although u bring it into the sea la. But it is still good to use at the swimming pool
Time for the reality for u – usually there r only few models worth buying for these type of sales. Those that have been replaced by a newer model…and after this sale…u will see most shops selling at the so call lower price….eventhough some shops will still try to con less knowledgable consumers into buying the same model at older more expensive prices….
Actually the best time 2 buy a new camera model is when they are actually launched (before officially announced by the company) – prices are normally cheaper as this is the first batch of relatively “unstable” cameras and hence, the review for these cameras are not out yet…once out in the mainstream market, the price will go up to the “original” price it is intended to be sold…
And for those of u who think giving out a free 4GB SD card is a very good bargain etc….it is the norm nowadays and its already factored into the price. Most companies nowadays give the cheapest SD card brand which is Pendrive or some other unknown brands. These are actually slower SD cards that cause slower writing and recovery of photos when viewing or copying.

Nowadays most companies give out 4GB because its cheap (I bought one in PCFAIR for 25bucks only).
i went there already. but i only survey the Olympus SW1030. not so cheapla. because other fotokem that i went to, nearby my house, if im not mistaken they selling at 1099rm including mmc. the quality i do not know. can pay by installment also. haha of course i dont want.
i don’t think if its worth buying(at Sunway) because last time when i went to midvalley sale, the price is 1199(can nego a bit more the promoter told me) n they r willing to give us extra battery, accessories, free gifts bla bla bla including 2Gb mmc. but here at Sunway the price is the same but they don’t provide us with the 2Gb mmc.
the promoter@fotokem told me that they can’t gv that because this is the clearance price whereby the other one at mid, that was the promotion price. hurm. i think they’re right. but shouldn’t clearance price be cheaper than any other price eh?*confuse laa*
nana: hehe. ya true. thats y im interested, but then the price is not so worth buying la i think coz myfren also told me that any other camera shop will offer 2Gb mmc if we buy from them at cheaper price.
i still, still, still thinking. im still a student, i just want to make sure that if i buy that, it worth every penny of mine
Nona Manis: hi there. last time when i asked the promoter at one of the camera shop nearby my house they told me that Sony Cyber-Shot is not so good la. because to use the camera u must tap on the screen right. but the screen is so sensitive. u cant tap them hardly or if the camera falls often, like 4 to 5 times also the camera might rosak cepat. im not so sure about that. but the promoter told me that Sony Cyber Shot cameras’ buyers are the most frequent customer that keep coming back bcoz of the screen problems.
anyways, u have to ask those who are using the camera. they would know better.
Nona Manis, I’m using Sony Cybershot dsc N2 touch screen camera. And I have been using it for almost 2 years now. It’s good! I love the slideshow…with music and all. I have drop it twice but so far a-ok. But I prefer my old canon because it has a viewfinder. My Sony doesn’t have it, so I have to look through the LCD to snap pics. And my Sony N2 uses lithium battery. When I want to charge the battery I have to take the battery out to charge and I find it a lil bit of a hassle. My old canon camera is heavier due to AA batteries but…when I’m out travelling and the battery goes flat I can always buy them at 7-11 and start snapping again. My Sony takes about 5 hours to charge and because it doesn’t use AA batteries, incase of emergency I can’t buy just any batteries at a shop. So there you go…the pros and cons. LOL!
I sooo wanna get Canon SLR digital camera. But right now $$ running a lil low. I’m not working. Hope my hubby would buy me one for my b’day

and oh the Sony dsc N2 would usually last quite long after the 5 hrs of charging. Like 300 snaps. Can adjust the megapixels. Mine is 10.1mp but I sometimes snap at 8mp, or 5mp or less.
anyone knows if there is canon digital ixus 70 and how much is it?tq
got my self an old timer – Samsung NV10 for rm599 from rm1499, full box set, 3 x 2GB Panasonic SD, and mini tripod.
I think it a fair price for a “point-and-shoot” digicamera..
Saw nikon D60 set at rm1999 – if only…..
is this real???????
