Unless you all got lots to buy, its going to be damn packed
    Every year crowded
Ppl bring kids, family, old folks just to look see
Hope the are more organized and crowd control
    I think I’ll skip this one…

Hopefully it’s better than the previous sales which was quite disappointing. The previous sales had only Rubbermaid kitchen wear, Morgan appliances, BenQ digital camera and also some other toiletries.

Hopefully it will be the same as the previous year sales. Finger cross. And expect tons of people there.

Now I got a good reason to go to PJ area.

I never use Rubbermaid before (because of price) but after bought in previous DKSH sales, it’s become one of my fav products (after Vision, Corning Ware).

  22. daws
    January 17th, 2009 @ 12:27 pm

now that the divider in front of the DKSH warehouse has been raised higher, i can only imagine the total chaos due to the lack of parking space available there. one option is to park in jaya one parking area but i still there’ll be massive jam. hopefully the sale is worth it for those braving the jams!

The traffic when i went early in the morning and left an hour and a half later was okay before 11am. Not that congested.

No Scholl products. There was Bertolli Olive oil but it was sold out before open to public. Staff and their family&freinds were allowed in earlier. M&M’s (6 packets-small for rm10) and Ruffles potato chips-3pkts for rm10 moving very fast might be gone by now. Gone is the mouth wash and some St. Ives products. There aren’t many St Ives items to choose from but it is rm7-10 higher price than price list. Hot-selling but available is Proviton,Flavettes and Champs vitamins all should be available at least today but all expires in July or August 2009 mostly. 2 bottles for rm5 and Proviton RM20 (as in price list)Rubbermaid still ample mostly. Nivea also okay but i didn’t particularly take notice just saw alot.

Brands essence all still okay but go there the earlier the better because some are really buying in big bulks eventhough expiry end of the year mostly.

Progress millk also quite laku but there is ample stock.

BRING ENOUGH CASH,credit card not accepted except for Rubbermaid.

Don’t have Matter or Fischer Price toys. Only toy i saw were some matchbox cars rm5 each. Parents bought but it wasn’t that attractive. Again, go early if u want good selection.

    To daws,

Can avoid jam one la, we usually go there by LDP, then turn into Sec 17 (sentosa area) and then park at Jln 17/2 or near 17 Kolej, totally no jam one.

    Went there at 4.30 ~
    Very cheap lor..
Nivea whitening foam bath only Rm9 from Rm19.9
    A lot more, cannot remember.
    Going tomorrow again lor.

If you go there just for St Ives, think better not to go. On my way back I saw only a few bottles around 15 bottles of their Apricot Whitening scrub and Apricot facial cleanser going at rm10 on the table so maybe stocks running low or because small and not so cheap item they dont want to display so many. Manufacturing date is end of 2006 and 2007. The eye gel,Body lotion and body soap finish. They had only 5-7 items from St Ives not much. I think some staff or their family/friend bought a fair bulk or they didin’t have alot of stock to clear.

Normally they don’t really replenish the next day. They sell as much as possible on the first day. For chocolate lovers, Vochelle my prediction might be better offer coz hardly anyone buying. Darlie toothpast also….alot man! You won’t miss it!The flavours also many but how much toothpast can you use,ah?There’s not many other uses for toothpaste besides cleaning teeth.lol

I went there around 1:00pm and I parked my car just opposite road to the DKSH sales entrance. After I grabbed few stuff and leaving around 3:00pm. When I reached to my car I found a white bloody SAMAN from our TEGAS, ADIL DAN BERHEMAH PDRM officer. I wonder whether DKSH got inform their sales to our brotherly neighbor mata? Shouldn’t DKSH be aware about this situation? Shouldn’t DKSH expected there will be insufficient parking space provide to all the customers?

DKSH should at least tell costumer about the risk of KENA SAMAN for illegal parking or they can request RELA come and keep the traffic. With the presence of RELA, I think mata also not easily issue SAMAN one.

At first I tot this will be a worth-to-go warehouse sales, after I received the SAMAN, it had became a totally not worth warehouse sales.
ADUI… Have to become KAMBING KORBAN PULAK… Can I request organizer to settle my SAMAN bil ah?????

    January 18th, 2009 @ 12:03 am

    I say don’t bother.

Warehouse sales like this always bring some risk of getting saman.

    I was just glad I didn’t kena.

We were there at 845am today (not an employee of DKSH) and they let us in. So we did our shopping with a breeze minus the crowd. Got a proper parking at Sec 17. But someone opened up a stall outside the gate selling clothes from Reject Shop. WEIRD!

Not so happy because some items have to be bought in double amount or more. Left us no choice but to spend extra on something we did not really need (on a tight budget).

But all in all, it was good because the extra items were compiled into gifts for my housemates.
