anyone has been to this sale before? is it worthwhile to go? i remember i’ve seen a chequered skirt exactly like those scottish ones many years back in laura ashley’s store in 1U but i didn’t buy it as it was so expensive like rm500+.
Is this the first Laura Ashley had some sort of WH Sale..? Does anyone know what is going to be like there..(esp discounts)?

it’s the next exit right after tol batu tiga, based from the map above. ive never been to the sale but remember seeing the signboard to the location a few years ago. anybody been there? i’m eyeing for some home decorations and furnitures..

laura ashely sells furnitures (bed frame, wall paper, lampshades, drawers) also. im hoping they have those items in this sale.

This is actually not the first time.. however, the discounts will be tempting. One suggestion, if you could come the first day. Cause what you see selling is probably the last available in Malaysia. We won’t be bringing in the similar stocks anymore.

Hanny,i think May did mention that they will sale furnitures & household items also…For those who want to be there,you can use federal highway, after tol batu tiga, go straight till you see carlbergs on your left.Turn left… (masuk susur carlbergs). The warehouse is on your right side (in front Federal Power). u have to go to round about and take 6 o’clock. If you know Selangor Medical Center-SMC (now known as KPJ Selangor), From SMC, go straight till round about and take 3 o’clock. Want to go but not gaji yet…. metrojaya warehouse sales already make me “kering kontang”…

But I thought previously they had the 70% off sale in their outlet in OU.
In my opinion, prices are still expensive even after less. Their clothes are like RM500-RM700, so , you do the maths lah. Even bags are thousand over..
Unless your budgets are around RM150 above per cloth, then its not the sale for ya.

trotted over to the whs @ 11:30am ….. quite a number of choice for apparels with discounts ranging from 30-80% + some home furnishings & accessories like candles, pix frames, curtains, wall papers, lamp shades, baskets, hand wash, body lotions, hand made cards, etc. @ 30% off.
As juni says, their apparels ranges around RM300 for a blouse to RM900 for a dress. Choices & sizes are still OK but kinda out of my range. Not crowded maybe ‘coz it’s still early & 1st day. There’s even a dressing room to try out the clothes.
Furniture (single pieces sofa, side table, coffee table, etc.) are on the 1st floor near the cashier counter @ 30% off.
Not a big area though, so may be cramped if the crowd gets in. Only small purse allowed – the usual tying up of you handbag in plastic bag applies. Good thing they installed huge fans around to cool the area.
Laura Ashley fans may appreciate this sale.

Hi. I cant wait to drop by tomorrow. My sis n mum just came back from there. Its a really great bargain. My mum bought me a long sleeve t-shirt. Price b4 80% discount RM269. After discount, u figure out! For me, its a good bargain. My sis bought a sofa. from 3K-4K, she got it for 1K -1.5K if im not mistaken. I suppose they really wanna get rid of their stock. She bought a table lamp, material for curtain and table cloth too. Great bargain cuz if u know, LA cause a bomb. hehehe… well, 80% off, at least it is a great deal. I wanna get a handbag tomorrow. I heard after discount is about RM80-100. I wanna get pants for work too. Heard from 500-800 goes 80% off. And the nice white bed frame cost like 2K+ only. Gosh… I cant wait. Hope this could help you guys…

i went there today, what Blissbabe said is not true, coz all the furniture is 30% discount only, for a normal price 3K-4K, impossible to become 1K-1.5K. There is only 1 kind of handbag there normal price bout 350, only 50% off. I think Blissbabe is to create crowd, she may b a staff working there.
Yup, agreed with sam, went there yesterday…limited choice of household items…clothes not that tempting…old stock i can say…
me also agreed with sam…Only less 30%. Most of it is rm8300. Even the single sofa also cost rm8300. This is not warehouse sale lah! Somemore the discounted price also not cheap. Maybe cloths oklah but not for household…

Went yesterday and came out empty handed… cant afford hahaha! The guard told me that Reject shop will be having their warehouse sales there on 28 May.

Most of it are past season stocks, however for Laura Ashley, we can affirm its quality. Do come and drop by to see the new range just brought out this morning.
There are Christmas range home accessories, and stocks are available. No harm stocking up for the coming christmas. Anticipate 40% and above of discounts.

i went there on the first day in the morning. there weren’t too many ppl initially, but the crowd did gradually build a bit. Staff was friendly & well-mannered.
for apparels, it’s pretty good deals for Laura Ashley. but if you’re a fashionista, then don’t bother going to any WH or clearance sales as they’ll normally have past seasons items. For those who dont mind, i say go and it may be worthwhile for you – esp if you’re a Laura Ashley fan.
I managed to get 2 blouses (80% and 50% – one top was from a relatively recent season), 1 l/s T (80% off) and a cardigan (80%off). Total is less than Rm400.
–if you appreciate the brand and its quality, i reckon that was a pretty good bargain overall
I’d go again if Laura Ashley has more sales in future! *hint hint to staff*

went there today…only get 1 singlet (price from Rm149) with 80%, become RM29.50… others than that ?%^$@#…. all my friend go back with empty handed.For me, not worth especially if you’re not Laura Ashley fan.Off-season, should call out-season…
Hi guys… I just came back from there. This time i went to see myself wats the deal. Before that sorry if i upset some of u. Ok, 1st im dissapointed cuz the handbag i mentioned – finish
… 2ndly, my sis did pay them about 1K for a three seater sofa. I dont know how, but she manage to get it more than 30% off. Actually u can try to bargain with them if u buy many items with total high spending. In her case, i think she finish yesterday about 4k. Im so sorry to give the wrong info. Nway, she said it was a good bargain cuz she was a big fan of LA. For my personal opinion, ok lar… Not to my expectation… same like u guys. I bought a pants though. And im so falling in love with the queen bed frame and i think it’s a good bargain cuz its damn nice (my opinion) and very rare to get in malaysia… Till then and sorry again guys… By the way, im not any of their staff.
I dont work at laura ashley. I however, am an avid warehouse sale go-er and here is my opinion:
laura ashley in malaysia is considered a high scaled brand. even at the pricing at its outlets at shopping malls on regular days is high as per compared to other chained clothing outlets (GAP, Guess, Marks & Spencer, etc..)
therefore eventhough there’s a price slash of 80%, it will still be high.
it would be unfair to rate this warehouse sale in terms of pricing as per compared to other warehouse sale…
sorry to laura ashley fans out there, no pun intended however their clothing does not follow mass market fashion trends.
it has it own style and fashion. mostly evergreen that you can wear for ever.
you will never get the edgy and up to date styles as what u will get at topshop, bebe or even bcbg…. even at their warehouse sale.
therefore, eventhough the clothes at their warehouse sale is many seasons ago…. it would not matter if you are a fan of laura ashley.
it is my opinion that before you waste your time taking leave, driving, and queing up at these warehouse sales, do find out what the brand/label is all about and check out the retail stores first.
you’ll save time, know what to look for and most of all, will not be dissapointed!
