How gud is this sale?
can anyone share their experience on the previous sale?
I think they only sell locally published books. http://www.crescentbook.com
there is a book sale at atria shopping mall in damansara jaya. it isn’t advertised but like its previous sales, it’s quite good. teen fiction as low as RM2 (babysitter series etc). i don’t know how long it will last but my guess is for quite some time. for all i know, it is permanently there.
Peen-That must b Big Bookshop sale
Bridget- Were u a member of PLB forum?
yes, kat, it is.
is there any twilight series selling here? the author is Stephanie Meyers
Anyone went there? how about there???
Wat they sell books???? Fiction???? Comic????
TQ
Zusya, twilight series going for RM 32, if not mistaken. Didn’t check if they had the entire series. Only 2 tables of fiction lots of children books though.
any good cooking / baking books there? tks
My husband went in to check first, he said that there’s a lot of educational related books.
Venue is pretty hot (no aircond). LOTS of children’s books, but NO Harry Potter. Lots of Enid Blyton hardcover (RM10) and paperback (mostly RM10, some cheaper). I purchased the entire St Clare set of books (RM3 for each book). Managed to obtain a few Agatha Christie novels for RM5 (very difficult to find, had to do quite a bit of digging). Current bestsellers being sold at normal prices (Twilight books sold at RM30+), though could only see Twilight books and Da Vinci Code. Lots of reference books on sale, like programming books, accounting books, etc, though not sure whether they’re the latest edition. Also lots of Islamic books, and I remember seeing a whole table of cooking books. Adult fiction quite limited. Did not notice any comics.
Almost equivalent to mph warehouse sale. Nothing fantastic
nobody saw any comic Kah???????? Then i guess not going then. i prefer popular sales
I went there on the 1st day. Lots of children books. Those new-looking books and neatly arranged ones don’t seem to have any discount because they are either same price or a little more expensive than the MPH Bookstore’s normal price. For those really cheap and good children books (bargain price ones!), you have to go to those racks where the books are all jumbled-up and not in order. comicbuff,
When I was browsing through the children books, I saw one boy reading a comic magazine, but I don’t know where he got it from because I don’t remember seeing any rack with comics in it.
