‘roadshow’ sounds like a better marketing strategy than ’stock clearance’. i wouldn’t expect too much from this. all the previous coach clearance sale i’ve been to has been disappointing. all old stock and very ‘auntie’
From the information, doesn’t look like it’s organised by Coach. Why do they impose 5.5% charge on 0% instalment ? Even buying hp with credit card only charge 1.5-2.5%. This 5.5% charge is relatively high. Plus, if they’re opening new outlet in Penang, the sales should organise at their new outlet, why choose E&O ? Click on the link at the bottom, it’ll bring you the Bagz website, they stated in their website, they’re not affiliated to Coach or the Valiram Group of Co. Which means, the authentication of the bag is not guaranteed, thought they claim is 100% authentic. By the way, are they allow to do this from legal point of view ?? Since they’re not the legal distributor in Malaysia.

I’m the owner of the bagz. The stock are mostly from 2009. And yes, we are not the authorised distributor in Malaysia, but FOS, Reject Shop and many other retail outlets are also not authorised distributor of GAP, Ed Hardy, Tommy Hilfiger and other branded items they sell. As long as the store does not shout the name of the brand, resembles the store of the authorised distributor, and does not entice consumers to believe the opposite, then it is LEGAL.
The most important thing is we are selling 100% authentic Coach articles, not some knock-off or AAA grade imitation. And we make it clear that we are not affiliated to Coach in any way. I believe consumers are very smart nowadays and can easily differentiate between fake or authentic items. We do not support fake designer items and never will, as it is against the law .
Pls refer to our blog for more info and pricing. Outlet is still under renovation, so we’re doing this roadshow to get as many potential customers as we can, and inform us about our new outlet, which will be opened in December 2009.

bull shits…all sold out in less than 1 hour..long Q list but not even half of ppl allow to go in and shop…superb dissapointed..rather go buy in coach shop directly..more comfortable.
yup! queued almost an hour and they said they just got 50 bags for sale only! one time only let 5 people in.. then sold out everything! pahlia betul! come on la, 50 bags???! no need rent hotel la! go n put up a stall outside easy la!

if you are not affiliated with Coach, how do you ensure authenticity? Can buyers bring the bag and authenticate at the official Coach boutique? I have also viewed your website. How is it that you are able to offer almost half the price of the normal retail?? With such low price, you are really making ppl all doubt the authenticity Don’t you need to markup for your profit margin? Are the stock direct from US?

it is not a good thing to test market response like this which is ridiculous! i guess i will not believe this kind of advertisement anymore. the ppl there are so HOT yesterday…well…i rather go buy in coach outlets honestly..not mind to pay more and nonit to Q and not even allow to step in the hotel ballroom…

I also went to E&O Hotel at around 1.30pm and saw the sign which says it is closed!!! Wasted my time going there!!
