Anybody went? how the sales? are they lots of books?
As usual the majority of the item for sales are in Chinese. There are quite a lot of English books, adult and children.s, for sale too. Definitely worthwhile to drop buy and get yourself some great bargains!
same batch of books as the previous sales? or new batch of books?
A lot of the stock, especially the English books, are leftovers from the Popular Book Fair in KL Convention Centre in August.
if not mistaken is d same old stuff rite?

went there ystday..alot of children’s chinese story book on sale
most of them is 80%
but of cos they are old stock, but still very good bargain
u can get chikldren’s book at RM2 each aft the discount….
as for adults books, mostly is chinese too which are on sale
I went there yesterday and also during the previous one at the same location , somewhere in May09.
If comparing the both, the categories of books sold are quite similar, maybe around 20~30% of the books are the same. There are children books, adult novels, travel books, art and crafts, non-fiction books, etc..
For English books, this time, the number of books and the area used was much larger, maybe 20% of the books are English Books. For children books, you will have to rammage through the books on the table, as there are not in stacks of similar books. There are enid blyton books are RM9.90, similar to MPH sales. There are Primary School Revisions Books from EPH on 30%,50%, 70% discounts, mosly suitable for SJK(C).
There are many people who bought trolley load of books , and there are ppl like me who had a hand-full this time.
If you have not been to the last popular sales, you may find this sales wonderful! Especially if you are into Chinese books
of cos still hv some of the same stock from last time sales la. At June 2009. But this time the discount is higher loh. even some of the book, i buy at after 70%, but this time only RM1 saja leh…
so sad…..
This time the sale is consider better then June 2009 de, cos the discount is more liao. at least 80% leh…. mana cari woh.
how about singapore revision books like maths and english ?
any dvds box set on sales? those japanese dramas?
a good place to go. just bought 11 books at RM60 ++ only, which includes recipe, novels, self improvements, yoga..
