ther’s crocs sale at summit Rm39.90, is that fake?? coz I compare my real crocs n theirs and their finishing look rough, I ask the seller there and they say is from Crocs factory, but erm, I don’t really feel, mmmmm, so can Crocs people confirm that?
I dont think Crocs price their items like that when it comes to a warehouse sale. The last one i went to prices were RM50, RM60, RM70 & RM90. Even kids’ Crocs started at RM50…nothing less.

Those selling at Pasar Malam sure fake one. Common sense, since Crocs distributor in M’sia has their own warehouse & Pinang MEdical to help to clear the old stocks, why would they want their products to be sell at Pasar Malam ? ASk yourself, if you’re the Pasar Malam seller, will you tell the truth that your products are not genuine ? of coz you’ll say it’s original to attract customers mah. Plus, the tag and bag, can be reproduce easily.
About the quality, it’s not as good as the original CROCS, very rough, even the sizing also different. I wear Size 6, original CROCS, but when I tried the one at Pasar Malam, the size keep changing, depends on the design. The finishing of ORiginal Crocs are much much more smoother and nicer than the 1 at Pasar MAlam.

i went to shahmelin (group 36) sales yesterday. they r selling puma and addidas sport shoes and T-shirts. not much of choices, but range RM50 above only. bought 2 pairs. their sales is till this weekend. can go and see.

I have 1 pasar malam crocs and original crocs. But i feel no different on the comfort and finishing between the two.

i don’t feel any difference between ori and fake………as long as you feel comfortable on it.like ppl said not necessary expensive stuffs is good.wise shopper is those can use little money to get the good stuffs that is give us a comfortable feeling when using it……..right or not? am i wrong? but anyway this is only my opinionlah……….
crocs which sales below rm50 are fake (though the some at pasar mlm said it’s original). this is what been told by abg seller in downtown (cheras) and danau kota (setapak).
the seller will say it’s original but 2nd grade…whatsoever but still it’s fake. the design would be rough…
and i think if u wanna buy..better compared with picture in website.

Our wholly owned subsidiary, Foam Creations in Canada produces the majority of our shoes for North America. We also manufacture in China, Italy, Mexico and the U.S. Of course manufacture from china is more cheaper than others.Mybe at pasar malam also original but from china..who knows?

It cost me RM30 per pair in pasar malam in klang i think.
after i compare with my fren ori crocs, honestly said i cant tell the different at all. It feel very comfort and after a year still serves me well. So i really doubt those original crocs.
yup…my rm30 crocs from jalan TAR still serves me well, nearly a year now. But if this sale can sell as cheap…esp Cyprus….y not?
so the conclusion is..as long can wear and comfortable..then can buy ?haha..=)
Seriously i think some crocs in pasar malam are totally same item which are sell in the distributing shops. the only different is you buy in shop then is “original”, you buy in pasar malam then is “fake”.

Totally agree with what okok said. It is the same shoe, it just didn’t selling in the shop and people will call them fake. So why pay more ?

i bought 1 crocs at tesco s.a, complete wit the tag at rm38, then i went to crocs outlet and find out it is 100% same.. i cant tell the differences… the feeling of comfort is the same plus the color n design no different. as it is only “shoes” that wear by ur foot i think nobody will mark u, using ori or fake crocs…as long as u comfortable..who cares..? u wear crocs ma…
em.. i bot crocs sandal at pasar pagi, lady = RM20.00, kids – RM20.00, men – RM25.00. i really cant c d diff between ori n fake crocs

It’s not the matter of ori or fake, the intellectual property and copyright that matters! They shouldn’t steal Crocs’ designs. If their shoes are as good as Crocs, why not create their own brand!
They didnt steal crocs design, they just selling without license approral. Just like handphone AP and Zitron. Ap phone are cheaper than zitron but can you say Ap are fake ?

i shall not venture into the debate of ori or fake issue, nor delve into infringement rights matter.
Just want to share my experience with pasar malam crocs.
Usually been purchasing my crocs (ive 6 pairs) from ikano/sunway outlet.
since the booming pasar malam vendors, i also bought 2 pairs (for fun) from TTDI and Kota Damansara. Costs RM30 each. TTDI pair looks like current crocs design while Kota Damansara is not crocs design but those crocs material.
brought the TTDI pair to ikano outlet… for VERIFICATION… i didnt tell them whr i bought it just say it’s gift. shoe intact with the label. staff told me its ORIGINAL.
Not satisfied i went to sunway outlet and 1utama outlet.
Verdict SAME, ori crocs….
So my own conclusion is…. who knws man?!?!?!?!
Fake or not fake, even the staff cannot tell… well, for all i knw is the staff simply answer la.. hence i went to 3 outlets….
FYI, for those not aware, also alot of blogshops selling crocs now.. also claim to be ori and at least 30% cheaper than retail….
one of them even sells in DJ or DU area by setting up stalls… cos acc to blog, it sells faster with walking traffic instead of waiting for ppl to stumble on their blogs….
just my input here….

Even i own 2 pairs of crocs from pasar malam, i would like to give it a try on some original crocs since its quite cheap…anyone have some price list and model available ?
I bought a pair of original crocs from their Midvalley boutique and use it to walk to class daily but somehow I didn’t feel comfortable to use it frequently as the sole wear out really fast and I bought it for more than RM100!
Then I stumbled into 1 of those blog shops and ordered a pair for less than RM70. Nobody could tell whether it is fake or original and it is more comfortable to wear daily, knowing that it is cheap and easier to buy a new 1 once the sole wear out again.
Win-win situation

After trying on both ori and pasar malam crocs, both were not that comfortable plus didn’t look good in them. They still look like clown shoes to me eventho many nicer designs are available. It is fun to look at tho. I would rather spend the rm30 on something comfy and looks nice….that’s where everyone agrees on comfort. Maybe if the real Crocs came down in price to something more affordable, this will reduce the number of people from buying pasar malams. Crocs @markets are priced from rm30-rm70 is not that cheap for ciplak! Normal pasar malam shoes like normal slippers/fancy sandals costs around rm10-25 if you bargain. Ok,ok so it is CROCSSS. Better i shut-up.Zipppp

mojo ~ these are pasar malam vendors on Sunday nite market in TTDI. They are located in the middle section just outside the Sinaran TTDI hoarding board. On other days, they also open stall at Ming Tien hawker centre in Taman Megah (just opp 7-11). They have a mix of products (ori looking and fakey croc designs. Just that i chose the ori looking version of Off Road design
Also just for everyone info, the sale in Mines is ORI CROCS.

another 2 sens worth, at the rate Crocs Msia came out in papers to verify their shoes and even put small ads to warn ppl abt the fakey crocs fast cropping up in pasar malam and blogs, their biz must certainly be affected… heheh

Although I am not Crocs fan, however after reading those comments from all above, I really wonder why the CROCS ppl (either distributors or manufacturer) never step forward to clarify all our doubts & give us, as a cunsumer, proper guidance pertaining to how to differenciate original & fake (other then price of course), OR those selling on the street may not be fake but just because they were manufactured in PRC ? In fact, as a responsible Malaysian, we really need to reject FAKE products, but we need to find out facts first.

i compared my original crocs with the pasarmalam stocks, to be frank, the quality sold at pasarmalam’s are better. i wonder why…no wonder the staff cannot differentiate
agree! people say the quality is better for that price. i buy it for comfort especially that my bata sandal always get smelly after 3 months but paying more than RM100 for original from the boutique is not worth it if the sole wear out in like 2 months.

ori crocs also uses cheap materials and selling it for a high margin. the fact is, crocs is dying due to their high margin. Imagine if ori crocs sells for RM30-50, do u think the imitation ppl will produce it?
Pasar malam felas selling for RM10-18 per pair oso get untung. And why is Ori crocs is selling for so high price? on quality wise, it’s almost the same. and on advertisements, don think Ori Crocs did much of it.
So ppl, at the end of day, just go according to ur budget!

just want to share my mother experience with PASAR MALAM CROCS. I bought 1 ori crocs to my mother, she said is very comfortable lah! she also bought 1 form pasar malam (RM35) looks like same. But after 3 months, went the pasar malam crocs step on oilling floor will slide, but the ori crocs are not ( she is waering same pair for 2year but still look good lah!)
i just come back form china ,the FAKE crocs are selling 12 renminbi only. I think pasar malam is bought from them also lah!
went to Summit last weekend. ppl happy like mad pay for fake crocs wic selling at 39.9 per pair & RM100 for 3 pairs ! i saw may ppl buying on tat day. wow ! good business ma !
They have few models that really value for money..for mens sandals, there’re few models to choose..for women quite limited size esp for flip-flops. A lot of women sandals to choose but limited colour.
i bgt 1 croc2 at roadside RM80, near Putra Hiehgts/USJ, saw so many ppl buying so i also bgt, later when at 1-U, look at the ori crocs, to me look the same, cost abt double so happy lah, tot i have good bargain, then later i started to see so many other places selling so cheap, near ikea, outside tesco abt RM30, pasar malam abt RM20, like other said at summit, 3pairs for RM100, the latest i saw at Amcorp selling ranging from RM10 to RM30 when i went to AMcorp for the electical warehouse sales….

Im a crocs lover and here is my opinion on Ori crocs and fake ones.
Why are crocs expensive? The material they use is expensive. It is not made of rubber, it is made of PCCR, a closed-cell material that virtually eliminates odour and Slippery. It also eliminates pain on your foot on long hours of standing or walking. Dont know what PCCR stands for but it has something to do with a petroleum derived foam. Crocs initially designed their material to be used in the Operating Theatres (Hospitals). So, just imagine the technology into making these shoes because in Operating Theatres, when operating a patient, blood is everywhere. And with these shoes worn, you wont slip. You know how it is blood, very slippery on rubber shoes.
Fake crocs uses Rubber material and high fake quality uses EVA Plastic. Better than PVC and all but it does not prevent slippery.
Comments are correct, you could not tell the difference in an Original and Fake crocs. But for me very simple.
If you own original croc shoes, Try bending them to ‘U’ shape. Do it several times to get use to the feel of it. Once you think you got the feel. Then, try bending ‘U’ the fake ones.
The original ones feels very smooth on the bend but the Fake ones are rough and not as smooth feel on the bending. I bet the workers of the Crocs shop also didnt know this. hehe.

went to the preview sale yesterday. not so many ppl. choices and prices were quite good… ranging from RM50 – RM130++. some of the models have limited sizes and colors. but the sales assistant said that there will be more stocks coming in. bought a pair of prima for rm55 only and a pair of slip on canvas shoes (forgot the name of the model) for my son for RM60.

i saw many on sale at pasar malam : in kinrara old town, tmn equine (by van) near to makan outlets, tmn pertama cheras, sri petaling (many sellers too)…..take a look 1st before decide to buy.
i bought 1 pair of original mary jane croc in metrojaya warehse sale in shah alam early this year at rm120.00, quite worth buying b’cos of quality and comfortable, so i dun mind paid a bit more though.

went for the warehouse sales at around 2pm earlier, freaking long queue like for 1 1/2 circle. decided to give up. could even hardly get into the car park, ended up parking at the roadside illegally….
NOT WORTH TO GO… WASTE OF TIME IN LINING UP TO GO IN.. PITY THE CHILDREN TO SPEND THEIR HOLIDAY WITH THEIR PARENTS TO THIS SALES…
Since I came fr S.Alam, decided to queue. Managed to get for kids (RM55-60), women size 6 – 7 all gone!!! Only managed to get slipper style at RM80 size 7. There’s a Crocs outlet on 3rd floor selling almost the same stuffs but slightly higher price.

I was there this morning at bout 10. Queue was crazy but worth the wait. Most size 6 and 7 are gone but since i’m bout size 7, size 8 will do too. Manage to get a few nice pairs. these are some prices i remember – cayman at rm80, crocs high heels wedges at rm100-150, crocs flip flop at rm80, mary janes at rm60 onwards, crocs shoe charms 4 for RM10 etc. i queued bout an hour just to pay! people were buying in boxes, wonder what they plan to do with it, open store in pasar malam? haha cheers.
Went thr this morning at 10am. Go inside at 10.30 after freaking q, but really worth it. Buy off-road for myself at $100 n Sobek for my wife at $80. Beach kid only $55, Disney beach $60, athens kid $80 and lastly very cute baby croc just for $60.
BTW, a lot of stuffs n choice thr. Just stand-by ur wallet only lol…happy shopping.
i went at 11.30am. q for 1 1/2 hours. i bought Islander choc for RM80 M7, viking brown M7 RM100, nanook gold W8 RM40. Lebih kurang 60%, 40%, 50% off. do u all feel worth it? very crowd there until i got no chance to be choosy. hehehe

hi…i arrived at the level 5 at 9.30am and the queue was long…at 10.30 only we managed to go in..for those for wear crocs and fake cros, u will be given a sticker..(i love crocs)…basically. for children the price start at rm60 to rm80..
for women the price from rm55 to rm150…for men around rm60 to rm130…
the tshirt(women and kids) is rm20..jitbiz 4 for rm10 (but not many choices;doraemon, hello kitty and star wars)..khakis bermuda rm50…i spend almost 2 hours inside there..including times for shopping and a very long queue waiting for payment..althought there are almost 6 counters…for those who want to go, my advise, please arrived early…have a good breakfast…

For those who hates to que, i suggest you go to the 3rd floor Crocs shop. All the items are the same + more sizes, because as far as i know, went there yesterday, long que and for ladies, size 6 and 7 sold out, for men, size 8 and 9 sold out.
On the 3rd Floor, price is just RM3-RM8 more expensive than 5th floor. One of the crocs i bought on 5th floor is RM60, when i check on the 3rd floor the price is RM63.90. So i guess not much difference huh? Unless you plan to go there and buy like 10 – 20 pairs.
gosh.. the place is too packed… advised not to bring along small children coz the ppl there will jus push & push & push onli without consideration… staff r unhelpful xpecially those lady staff… not much sizes left… lotsa ppl very inconsiderate & keep on pushing…
