Are you sure there are stuff to purchase?
I really hope that this is not like the previous sales in E&O Hotel Penang on last two week. That day, I purposely went to Penang to join the sales, but unfortunately, there is nothing to purchase although I reach there at 10:30am (start at 10:00am).
Actually, not only me who angry but also a lot of the buyers who went there like me. The staff told us that all the items are sold out! Do you believed it?
So, for my opinion, maybe there are three options on why most of us cant get anything there:
1. Only limited items there due to lots of buyers?
2. One millionaire purchase all at once?
3. Most of the items already reserved it by the staff?

I was there standing in front of the main door at the main hall at 7.30AM and whereby the sales only start at at 9AM. Suprisingly I am still standing at where I am at 9.15AM and organizer told us all the bags are sold out.

In my opinion, possibilities that happened:
1) There are ghost millionaire queing in front of me and enter through the walk and purchase al the coach bags.
2) I felt asleep while waiting on the queue but it can’t be true coz the whole crowd outside the hall of Armada Hotel created a big scene with Bebito till the 2 policemen shown up to evacuate the hall and ask everyone to leave.
3) Last but not least, “It is EARLY APRIL FOOL PRANK” for 2010. ( What the F**K!!)

I felt the same you did!! But I arrived at 8:45 and by 9:10 or 9:15 the organisers annouced the bags were all sold out! I feel so cheated. I didn’t even get to see the tables that the said COACH bags were laid on. Sigh… But I see someone bought some bags so I guess I am happy at least someone bought something! How many bags were there “reallyhappybuyingcoach”?? I mean the sales did say 9am – 4pm so my inexperienced brain says there must be some bags that will last till 4pm!
Anyways, what a huge bummer and so many people were yelling, “wasting our time!” and I totally agree!! Nonsense!! And the organiser was such a wimp – didn’t even dare to step out to meet the people who made the effort to wake up to come out on a Sunday. Hid behind the doors and make a very curt annoucement through the mike, “All items sold out.” No apology whatsoever. The least they can do is to refund my RM5 for parking! WORST clearance sale ever.
The official Coach boutiques in Malaysia is also having sales on selected items. Why not purchase from the official boutiques?
The prices may be higher (coz discount is either 30% or 50%) but you are guaranteed that they are original and there is satisfaction of being able to choose/buy personally with service, bag, etc.
If you are willing to wait a while more and not choosy about the designs/colours, the 30% stuff will go to 50% during their second wave of the sales towards the end of the sales.

u cn always opt to buy Coach handbag online, there are a lot of online buyer. For example the new coach alex is selling about rm1400++ at the Boutique, online u can purchase is at rm1080++ about 22% cheaper… but of coz x dont full Coach package which include box, paper bag & that red ribbon. pay less, means get things less

hello guys! ive read all ur pissed off comments and feels something not right. =( this is not by coach store clearance sale! did u know dat? i think d best way if u want to buy coach is from their boutique itself. its really cheap when they do clearance sale @ even normal days bcoz they had one section of it in each of their boutique unlike other brands like burberry @ gucci. another way is, if u want to shop cheaper coach and its authentic, u can wait for VALIRAM LUXURY GROUP to do clearance (only a bit price markdown from the boutique for the clearance part) over there, they had jimmy choo & shanghai tang too! d last time i went, theyve got chloe! hope it helps u guys!

This morning we were reached there 0900, long Q and the door was closing bloody hell the worst part was 0910 some 1 came from the room said “SOLD OUT” and their customer also mention nothing much bag in the room too. Dxmn woke up early in d morning went there was told SOLD OUT, seriously i do not understand how their work on their “Business Plan” on Sales as per “Tit Kun” mention Penang facing a same issue too. Yeah same ere. Reah there at 9.15am. N ppl were saying it is sold out. I bump into the 1st batch that went in. They said its not worth at all. Heard from 2nd batch in queue, they said it is sold out. Damn!!! Many ppl were swearing. Wasted my sunday morning…

What a sXXt sales ever experience I had today! Just have been living in this country less than 6 months and bad experience. Giving the image of COACH brand bad reputation. If the organizer have only limited stocks, they’d better not to make advertisement. Just better to make a private sales instead of public. Though, no need for the organizer to book the venue, etc.
No need to you guys to come, and it’s really totally BS! Advertised sales till 4pm, but have been there since 8.30am, and door still closed. At 9.10am, one of the guy came out and said, ‘all items are sold out’??
Need more extra careful with advertisement next time. Just decided better to go to authorized store.

Feeling totally scammed. I arrived at Armada Hotel this morning to a sea of cars waiting to park at the open air car park at around 9am, so I turned into the basement car park. When I arrived at the lobby at approx 9.10am, there were many people loitering around the lobby with empty hands. Then , I found out from a manager at the Hotel saying that all 20 units of bags are already sold out. What ? Sold out 10mins after the sale started???
A check with another girl who came down from the 3rd floor revealed the same, only this time she said that there were rumours saying there were 50 bags out for sale, and all were sold out. She didn’t even enter the room because it was locked. ( Well, duh, since the bags are all sold out, what for still wana open right? )
Conclusion : Limited bags were up for sale, just like the one advertised recently in Penang. I’m not sure if it’s done by the same group of people(Bebito).
To ShoppingNSales : I feel that more checks should be done to verify advertiser’s authenticity the next time. Don’t call it a warehouse sale if you have only 20 units for sale, because a warehouse is where we expect at least 1000 units of goods for sale. And please ban Bebito from your future postings. They just bring a bad name to Coach and to your website!

i went to coach boutique @ pavilion and i notice that coach is made in china..i dont think it worth to spend few thousand for this brand and there a lot of fake,not genuine coach outside also made in china..compare to others brand like gucci,prada all made from italy(genuine)..

DAMNED!!! so i hd 2 went out of the hotel n find the nearest ATM machine 2 wdraw cash… but its ok, im still happy bcoz get 2 buy something… hehehe…

Pls note that this sale is not organised by OFFICIAL COACH DISTRIBUTOR. It’s just an online shop which does the roadshow in Penang, KL and JB, to attract customers, to introduce their online shop to the customers. Their strategy has caused many angry and disappointed customers, in a way, it works, becoz it create awareness of the online shop to the customers.
I reached at 8.15am but din get to go in also!!!! WTF! coz those late comers cut the queue! The organizer didn’t make any effort to control the queue at all! At least they should let ppl go in batch by batch.. What we heard at 9.15 am was 1 uncle shouting,”all items sold out!’ Damn rude! Not even a proper announcement that the items were sold out. U ppl reli make COACH brand a shame!!!

Did you mean that they only use 2 minutes to choose, 2 minutes to queue and pay, and 1 minute to walk out?
This doesn’t make any sense at all. How is it possible for all the shoppers that came before 9 am managed to find what they like in 10 minutes? They don’t need to consider?
And if you really sold 300 bags in 5 minutes, how come shoppers are not limited to number of purchase?
Your explanation make no sense at all, and I believe all ladies will definitely make their ways there until 4 pm. I went there at 10am and all ladies came out empty handed, can you image the reaction of the rest of the ladies?

I was there this morning also at 9a.m, same experience here with no chance entering the coach clearance hall and already inform that all item sold!! But think twice, i feel lucky, even I din manage to buy any of the coach bag today. Since the Bebito company can arrange such a lousy branded sales and only with so few coach bag to sell, how can you guarantee those lucky purchaser had purchase the genuine coach bag and not fake one? As i know, the fake bag nowadays are so real even have dust bag and almost same like the real coach. I think is better to go for the clearance from coach boutique with genuine product and proper service!

yes, i was there at parking at 11am and saw an indian guy sticking the notice “Coach sales sold out”. so i did not park my car n left so save the parking fees. it is really like what tit kun said earlier.
but i was very angry, felt like being cheated. i will definately not going to any sales that organised by “Bebito”.
Hi all it is kinda interesting reading all the commens.luckily i didnt go to armada was thinking to go at first. I think happy shopper who is the only one giving positive comment up there,is one of bebito’s stAff or sumthg.pls dont lie to the pppl here.yes i suggest for anyone of us to write a complain to persatuan pengguna(ive done it before to air asia and they got a stern reply) so yes dont take this situation lightly as this is the 2 nd time. And armada hotel shud do sumthg to this organizer also.

it’s damn angry. today woke up so early. and queue up at there about 8.20am..then long of ppl come in…so make the Queue like “U” shape, so when the door open.. the staff never take effort and just let ppl go in..mean all the late comers able to go In and we are in 2nd batch.. then 10mins..they annouced item sold out. Come on.. even organizer mention they are 1st doing this event(maybe their excuse).. but control the Queue is a very very BASIC things you have to manage becos this is SALES. Thereafter, they allow 1 batch’s fren(who came late after) go inside while batch 2 is Queing..Funny..then here state Credit card accepted. But in fact, the LINE down, only can pay cash and i have to ran away 1km to withdrawn money then ran back 1km to send in the money..Conclusion .. it’s Ridiculous..

i 2 wen 2 armada at the end a botak let those who has parking money 2 be claimed & 2 bad i park at the petrol station so cant claim but later we waited till 2 policeman came & hv a settlemen 2 let those who still waited ouside around 30 pax in & including me. so some still waited 2 sweap their card got grab few bags & they let go 2 us as they dun think they wan those. few of us took i bu then later we paid by maybank2u transfer btw ….. my uncle was telling me i’s all dbl AA goods fake wan … bu i was so dissapoined & can any wan tell me tat it’s fake not genuine. tat y they make us so confuse lor like sales then sold out wzin 5 mins ….. i dun dare going 2 coach shop & ask cos worried i’s really imiation. anone can adv & any1 bought frm bebito armada hotel 2dy & went to coach shop 2 find out????????

Guys and gals, do not frequent this sales again based on the above comments and that from the Penang sales. I do not believe 300 bags can be sold within 5 minutes. If all paid in cash, dont you need time to count the cash and issue receipt? Unless of course you have 300 staff doing that simultaneously which I doubt so.
Genuine Coach is indeed Made in China and there are very good imitations also from there, you know what I mean…. I started by buying Coach but because the price is so high and yet made in China, I have now moved on to other Italian brands which are really made in Italy though their price may be slightly higher but it is worth it. However, for small items like top handle pouches and wristlets I still go for Coach.
Buying online is no good either as the items are either fake or phased out items from the Factory Outlets in US. It will be bullet marked and I learnt my lesson, the seller is so ignorant about this until I pointed it out as she claimed all her bags with bullet marks can be expected to receive full service from Coach Malaysia.
Previously, Coach Malaysia (official franchisee is Valiram Group) does accept items for service so long they are not bullet marked. However, lately, there are a lot of US shoppers/travellers selling online via pre-orders. Thus Coach Malaysia now only will service the item if you produce their Malaysian official receipt.
Valiram’s Luxury Clearance offer good discounts up to 60% off the Malaysian retail price. However, it depends on the range and sometimes, the discount offerred is the same as their boutique’s sales. So, I normally check it out but rather buy from the boutique as there is better service (no need to queue, etc.) and you get the official receipt and Coach paper bag. Valiram’s Luxury Clearance will only give you a handwritten sales invoice and a generic printed receipt which due to the latest change in their policy makes servicing difficult. I do send my bags back for free polishing.
Currently, Coach boutiques are having sales. If it is last season, it will be 30% off. If it is more than last season, it is 5o% off. So, go check it out coz you get better service and all the frills that come with the bag. If you know how to charm the SA, they will give you the Coach box as well which are reserved for normal priced items.
Enjoy your shopping. Note, I am not affiliated to Valiram or Coach in anyway but just a normal consumer who have enjoyed good service from SAs in Coach boutiques, made some friends but have moved on to bags of other brands just because Coach is Made in China but yet stil priced at a luxury level.

People were lining up since 7.30am. When we opened the door at 9am, people rushed in and all the items were picked up in 5 mins.When they tried to pay, the CC machine was not working, so they had to go out and get some cash. The batch of ppl that you saw were those people returning to pay by cash.Fyi, we did not sell any products to our friends or staff’s friend – against our policy.
For those who came and did not get the chance to buy anything, we are sincerely and deeply sorry for the all the troubles/time wasted/parking fee. Honestly, this was our first event and we wished it could have been a more pleasant experience for everyone. Please accept our apology
All said and done, our main goal was trying to offer to best available price for authentic COACH products to the rest of the Malaysia community and we’ll strive to do better in the future.

can anyone of the buyers(who bought the itesm from this event betito), can take the item to coach to clarify it’s fake item or it’s original ? i bought 2 hangbags. i came around 8.15am and queue uo 8.20am, so i am the 2nd bacth go inside and with very limited items, no much choices..
i really cannot accept if this is the FAKE ITEMs. if any clarify its fake item. all the buyers still stand out and make police report and voice out in press.

All of this is from FOMCA’s (Persatuan Pengguna) website. I believe complaining to Bebito will not get you anywhere. My wife and I nearly went to this sale (she said to me several times that she wanted to go) and she is an avid coach fan, but since we never really went there, it wouldn’t be right to log any complaints so I hope that one, or most of you could write in/phone in to FOMCA regarding this matter.

After all the hype queuing for the clearance sales, came the security guard telling us to clear the area because they want to prepare for another function @ 12pm.
In 5 minutes time all 300++ items sold out and at 12pm there will be another function will be held there but the clearance sales were until 4pm. Do the math.
omg! someone pls go and authenticate the items with coach boutique. it’s not your fault if you bought one from this sale and pls don’t be ashamed with it. if they’re not authentic, u guys have the right to make police report.
i also agreed with concern reader that at this stage u guys who have been involved could make report to Fomca. if we referred to what sundayblues stated, it is already obvious that they already planned the sale to be within a very short period. by logic, who could have bought 300++ items within 5 minutes~! totally outrageous…

I also went to that fxxxxx Coach Clearance Sales….ive reached there about 835am n there a lot of people already Q….910am one of the maybe security guard came out and announce…”semua barang SOLD OUT”…come on…..u state to public sales started at 900am…how come people can go in before 900am….celaka punya organizer….im the big guy wearing white shirt that shout “PECAHKAN PINTU TU”….i also marah the security guard suruh dia panggil the celaka organizer to give an announcement…unfortunately…he came out said all item SOLD OUT without any explanation then he go back in..what the fxxx!!!!!

I just dont understand y some ppl are still backing up bebito or still dont get the frustrations that ppl are telling here. It is about the misleading info, how they treat the customers and how r they acting as an organizer.again,if u r selling only a few baga ( i doubt there are 300 pieces) make it a private salela. Imagine those ppl come from far away place to come to this so called clearance sale.

I just got the chance to view the comments, if not, I’d have responded earlier. Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and commotion that morning especially for all of you who took the time off, queueing so early on Sunday morning and defintely excited to get a good deal of Coach bags. This is our first time organizing such events and definitely didn’t expect such a huge turnout.
Yes, we agree with you that the sale could have been much better organized and managed, especially with security, logistics and payment backup systems. Therefore your feedback is appreciated as well.
Secondly, We deeply regret that we were not able to have more items for sale as such a huge turnout wasnt expected (300+ items was initially what I considered quite a considerable quantity for luxury goods). As it turns out, there are many more eager Coach fans that should have been considered.. and well-to-do shoppers who rack up multiple items easily. As soon as the door opened, eager shoppers instantly racked up multiple items each. There were no ghost millionaires.
Third, this sale is organized by a Bebito, a private enterprise that brings in various brands of authentic luxury items including Coach directly from USA & to avoid misrepresentation, it was explicitly and formally mentioned in all ads that we are not directly affiliated with Coach Malaysia. All items are 100% authentic guaranteed and we do not carry any imitation products.
No, we were not the organizer in Penang whom I heard held a similar event.
We hope that you understand as this was our first event and learning process for us. We value your feedback and in the future, we will only hold private functions by invitation only to avoid such conditions.

Paying hard earned money for parking is also equally heartache. Can I just hammer your head and say sorry??? It’s be also learning process for me. It was a learning process for me too. Never ever go to any sales organise by Bebito no matter how cheap or how good it is. Plenty of warehouse sales going on as you can see from the site….So bebito, why dun u go and FXXX a tree.
I’d bought my coach bag in The Gardens branch. They are having 30-50% sales as well… I think u guys can head to the Coach outlet. I asked the salesperson when will be the sales over. He told me that while stock last. But not much designs. If u guys reli interested to get one, can try to visit! Maybe Pavillion one will be better cuz it’s bigger! =)

I’m only a reader here & did not go to this so-called Coach clearance sale. It’s really a shame that the organiser received all these negative comments. I hope all the angry and felt cheated consumers who went to the sale will take this as a lesson NOT to go to Coach clearance organised by unknown sources, be it Bebito or the previous one in Penang although they so-claimed that they are not the same organiser. These people just intend to make fast money by buying loads from factory outlets in US & selling them to us like a sale. That’s why they also predicted all will be sold out in a blink of eye. What the organiser never thought of was the importance of a reputable name in order to attract crowds to your sales in future. Well, maybe their main concern is to be able to sell all items out effortlessly. So, let us ALL be self-worth consumers and have better judgment the next time!
Some comments from Penang roadshow – all sold out in less than 1 hour..long Q list but not even half of ppl allow to go in and shop…superb dissapointed..

Sounds familiar? Maybe their modus operandi is to have this type of sale at ‘good hotels’ so as to fool the public. Anyway, the Penang Coach sale was called a roadshow, and a roadshow means that it’ll travel, soooo, from Penang, they may have made their way to KL, and next, Johor?
to those who’v been to d penang clearance sale, can u share d name of that organiser. I’v crossed Bebito out from my list, need to cross that 1 out too….
Check the entry on Nov 4 for the ‘COach Roadshow in Penang’. The organiser there also responded & this is what she/he said (copied entirely):

I’m the owner of the bagz. The stock are mostly from 2009. And yes, we are not the authorised distributor in Malaysia, but FOS, Reject Shop and many other retail outlets are also not authorised distributor of GAP, Ed Hardy, Tommy Hilfiger and other branded items they sell.
