Wordpress Top Post Plug-In Search

For you regulars who come here daily or (a couple times a day), you know where and what to look for. But we also have a lot of newbies that comes to shoppingNsales.com and are not familiar where to go.
Thankfully, shoppingNsales.com is running on a Blog concept, with the Malaysia’s Politics made popular, and almost every other Malaysian we meet has a blog, we feel you would be relatively comfortable searching for what you need to know on sales and warehousesales!
But having said that, what would make it even easier was to have a plug-in in the sidebar of the blog to show which are the TOP posts that readers are reading or commenting on, would be a great help for newbies.
So we started a search online, googling for the right plug-ins and these are what we found.

1. Wordpress Plug-in by Categeory
Its prety nifty, but it requires you to set it up on a new page (but we want one on the sidebar), and one pretty good thing is that if you use your Categories correctly, this Top Posts can quite helpful for your readers. Download it here!
2. Daily Top 10 Posts
Now this seems to fit the shoe of what we are looking for. It fits in a sidebar, and it has a TOP 10 by popularity by day and also for overall (since Day1). Download it here!

Guess which one we installed? Yups, it was No.2 Daily Top 10 Posts.
So now you will be able to see which are the TOP 10 posts each day, and it will automatically update as more readers visit it. The only unfortunate thing is that since we installed it today, it will only start calculating all posts as of Today, so all the past historial data won’t be featured in the Top 10 Overall Posts!

That plugin is not too bad too, just that we wanted to show the TOP POST for the day on a sidebar, so that newbies would know what everyone else is looking at.

Plugins support to help blogger do something automatically but some need to be configured correctly. I understand that you’re not so IT savvy (I read somewhere before you mention this and you need to ask friend to upgrade wordpress) but from what you have archieve here, I really proud of you.
You have done something different from other blogger. More than 50% of Malaysian blog are focus on politics and some don’t have value, not worth to read at all. Your blog one of a kind. Malaysian should have more blog like this. Thumbs up to you.
