New items at special prices at Harvey Norman Warehouse Sale

WHEN one thinks about warehouse sales, it is the clearing of old items that usually comes to mind.
Yet that is not usually the case, especially during this economic recession, said Harvery Norman managing director Angelo Augustus.
Good deal: Customers looking at the laptops on sale.“We are offering new items at a special price which will benefit our customers during this difficult time,” said Augustus.
“So, at the end of the day it is the customers who are the real winners,” he said.
Augustus said the company’s three-day warehouse sale currently held at its warehouse in Sect 22 Shah Alam after an overwhelming response received for the earlier sale held in January.
“This time the sale is four times bigger, with better deals for our customers.
“Some of the items are given up to 80% discount,” he said adding that customers who make their purchase during the sale can still enjoy the warranty offered.
Customers can also buy the extended warranty of between two and four years at nominal premiums if they think the one-year warranty offered by the manufacturer was insufficient.
The sale, which kicked off at 10am yesterday until tomorrow, offers various brands from electrical, furniture and bedding, household appliances to computer items.
Augustus said they had bought the items in bulk from their suppliers to enable customers to enjoy the lower price.
Among the favourite items were the LCD television sets and furniture.
“We managed to bring in RM5mil from the January warehouse sale and we are targeting RM10mil this time.
“I am pretty confident that we will meet that target,” he said.
Augustus said about 200 of the company’s staff have been working hard to make sure the sale turns out a success.
The sale is on from 10am to 6pm.
The warehouse is located at lot 38276 Lion Industrial Park, Jalan SU8 Phase 2, Section 22, Shah Alam.
