Hi Joanne,

I just stumbled what you wrote and hope you will be reading it soon.

I hope your son is not giving you sleepless nights anymore. Well, in case, I presume the milk and water temperature is all right, did you check if his stomach is blotted? if yes, means he has a lot of winds, if that is the case you could buy "Yu Yee" oil for him to apply, as for morning after he has taken his bath, give him some "gripe water", this is very good (check dosage from the bottle).

Check your room temperature and also the clothing, some babies feel hot all the time especially baby which are big in size (like my daughter) she never had to wear mittens nor long sleeve even in air-cond room as soon as we brought her home to our house like 5 days after i have delivered her as she was a big baby. so, it really depends, only buy cotton clothing, if you see your baby sweaty means he's feeling hot (this has to monitor) you will know after a while. of maybe he's not comfortable with wearing diaper (especially disposable ones) as it's really, really hot no matter whether it's breathable it is really hot. Hope all these helps if your problem still persist.

I have 3 kids. I found that each and everyone of them have their own timing. we certainly can't control our children's bladder. Sometimes their muscles are not strong enough and even if you do potty train, you'll find the strain of taking them to the potty every 10 minutes. This actually happened with my son. It was tiring. My eldest dd was only potty trained when she was about to turn 2 and when she was ready. Look for signs of readiness in terms of she's not feeling very comfortable in her wet diapers or she tends to take them off. Never force them. Let nature takes it's course. My 2nd dd was potty trained quite fast. She was eager to be potty trained and managed to stay off diapers from 18 months onwards. My son was also 18months but still wears CLoth Diapers at night. If you want to save money.. and not use Disposables... try Cloth diapers. They helped me save a lot... :) If you want to know more about which diapers to use.... feel free to email me. :) Happy training... :)
