Don’t worry mommy2be. I had the same thing. You can’t be admitted until you reach a stage where the contractions are close together. Just relax and wait for the real thing!

im 37 weeks and im having that tightening pain in my stomach when i touch it, it is real hard and hurts a little bit but not alot.i asked my midwife today what does that mean and she said that its contractions..also i was hooked up to the machine and the doc told me i was havin contractions i didnt feel anything no pain or nothing.

contraction can also happen after the intercourse. Good for u becaiuse it helps dilation.

I think that is normal at 38 weeks as the baby is already “went down”, prepared himself to be engaged to its “door” once it is time for the baby to be deliver.. normally, it wont be long before you are going to deliver. The longer is around one week. So.. be prepared, dear! it almost time! and.. good luck!
