Posted by admin on Aug 10, 2008

This has been the talk of town!  Have you been vaccinated? Have you got the Cervical Cancer Jab?  Apparently this is a very important innoculation that ladies have to take.  It is not only for those who have given birth or the sexually active. Do read on & find out more about this as it prevents Cervical Cancer by 80%! (apparently la)

We checked with DSH (damansara Specialist) on their pricing but it vairies between different gynaes as it seems there are 2 types of product in the market. Pap Smears…is it really painful?

Posted by admin on Aug 2, 2008

One day there was an episode on Oprah and she had Dr Oz as her special guest. They were talking about Pap Smears and the neccessity of having it done. It was recommended that girls should have their 1st pap smear done when they are 18years of age. That was to be done as a baseline preventive care. but many of us malaysians….either shy away form it or worst have our 1st pap smears done at age 40!  Some of us only had our 1st Pap test when we were  pregnant. Are all these due to the many scarry stories we hear about how painful it is.

Is it really a horrible experience? Can moms share some of your experiences? This would help.

You can find out more on Pap Smear here
