I am new too and so in need of help! I feel your pain, but at least your child will sleep in your bed with you. Mine has been a pretty good sleeper up to about 3 weeks ago, she started not wanting to go to bed and screaming so much she made herself sick, she jumps and cries so much that you would think she would cry herself to sleep but to no avail she doesn’t. I have tried it all, letting her cry, moving her to a big girl bed, moving her to our bed, but after 30 minutes of being quiet and lying down she starts all over again. She always wants to watch tv and never sleep, and she is not wanting to nap during the daytime either, I am at my wits end and so tired, and 17 weeks pregnant. I am so desperate, any help would be tremendously appreciated!! Help!
Sincerely,
A desperate 2 1/2 year old mom!
How do you get your child to sleep alone?

Hubby and I had always wanted to let our son sleep alone in his own bedroom. For one, it frees up our bedroom so we can at least have some pillow talk at normal conversation volume. Also, in preparation for our 2nd one -Â We wouldn’t want him to feel that he has been ‘chased’ out of the room when the 2nd one comes along, since people say babies know when little bro/sis is coming even when parents don’t tell. And our bedroom can’t fit 2 kids.
Everything was going well until he fell sick one time and we kept him in our room. Ever since then, he can’t sleep without us beside him. Sigh… anyone has ’successfully’ transferred babies to their own room? How do you do that? And how old is the best time to do that?
