HI there mommies & mommies-to-be!

I am currently 27weeks along and am planning to give birth in Assunta Hosp. Actuall the current gynae I see delivers babies at Pantain but hubby and I are worriedabout the cost so we asked our DR to recommend us to Assunta. Heard that Dr Liew Fah On is really good and experienced.Can anyone how has given birth in Assunta under his car share their experiences? Or any stories you have heard fr your friends who delivered there? What is the current cost for normal birth / C-sect? Any other cheaper but good hospitas to recommend? Really appreciate your feedback..thanks:)

Hi Lily, i was delivered on last 30th august. on the 3rd day, my baby have jaundice. one time admitted for 3 days, then it increase again. go to the specialist, rent a fototeraphy to do at home for 3 days. still not decrease. try to bath with macam-macam la…. then, on the 27th day, i brought my baby to my mom in law, since my mil is medical nursing instructor. my mil take care of him, give him formula milk at night time (she sleep with my baby). only for three days, my baby was fully recovered from jaundice. the moral is, jaundice baby is only need to have a very much feeds, so the jaundice will throw away with the motion. that is my experience with jaundice. now my baby was 4 months old with 8 kg….huhuhu…

Hi, I am the first time mother, has anyone heard any good gynae as my family house is in Jalan Cheras 4th Mile, Cheras area ? I am staying in Overseas but i am thinking come back to KL to give birth, so i need information about good gynecologist, whether the hospital provide NICU and how much they charge. thanks in advance

dear mommies, prolonged jaundice did sound scary to new mom. Pls do not stop breastfeeding, if a Dr ask to stop, this Dr has learn very little about breastfeeding. My daughter also was diagnosed breastmilk jaundice but still continue to be breastfed. She recovered. I would advice better stay all herbs from both baby (even bath as baby skin is so thin, the absorption can be great) and mommy as those are not evidence based.

hi all..
my experience for first time(since baru 1 anak je..hehehehe) at putrajaya hsptl.My experience was gud(indeed what u expect from a gov hsptl..my comp & hubby comp xcover maternity cost).Arrived at hsptl around 11pm. Get warded that night. Around 3.30am next morning admit to labour room.My hubby accompany me start from 4am until I bersalin(10.15am). The nurse also quite friendly and helpful, teached me breathing technique…and calm me down. So i guess for gov hsptl, this is consider gud service. Now my princess already 5++month.
Just wonder for any mum staying around equine park/puncak jalil/dengkil..do u know any muslim babysitter(pengasuh)that I can send my princess to. Now she staying with my mum in north. So every weekend will travelling back to see her.Pretty tired & I want to spend more time with her during this stage.Please if anybody can recommend for me…that would really appreciate…email me (dd.razak@yahoo.com) or sms me (0133625206)..thx
