Epidural or Not?

Dear MOMs, I have a friend who is currently expecting. She was asking some mothers if she should take pain killers. What are all your thoughts. Please share your experiences & advice.

1.To take or not to take.
2. Some say it will affect the child others say it wont. Will it?
3. How do u decide?
4. When is best to take epidural?
