**Update 25 Sep : China milk alert: 132 products on ‘suspect’ list by Malaysia Food Safety Division

**Update 24 Sep : 170 Dairy Products CLEARED by Malaysia Ministry of Health

We received multiple SMSes from friends advising on various food products to avoid and discard from the home. And we believe that these SMSes are not true. Some of you may have also received it as well ….

This is one of them which we believe is NOT true :

Pls pass it on (not official in malaysia but singapore has recalled these items) the following items hve been recalled due 2 China’s M&M’s, Snickers, Mento’s Yoghurt Bottle, Dove Choc, Oreo Wafer Sticks, Monmilk, Dutchlady Sterilised Milk, Wall’s All Natural Mango, Mini Poppers Ice Cream, Magnum Ice Cream, Moo Sandwich Ice Cream, Mini Cornetto n Youcan Ice Cream. We’ve been asked by ava 2 remove them from our stores. If u hve any of these items in yr hse don’t eat them. 

If you read the bottom of this news report, Singapore only found 3 Products which contained Melamine, and not the above list.  

Anyway, we just discovered today that one of our Favourite Sweet, the White Rabbit Sweet from China (Picture above) has now been officially banned in Malaysia. Sigh! We wonder how much Melamine we have consumed in our body…. after eating so much of it!
